You can lightly sand the inside of the cabinets with a soft grit sand paper ; in order to freshen them up. Just go in with a good buffing wax when your finished so that you can wipe them up easily from now on.

This video showed up in my recommended and I love it! My husband and I just moved into a 1958 ranch style house a little less than a year ago. The house itself is very solid like no water damage, good foundation etc. so it passed the home inspection but all of the fixtures and stuff are from the late 50’s early 60’s so we’ve been updating it room by room, doing a lot of the work ourselves and lots of research to save money and like you said in this video a lot of the old style is coming back so we kept a lot of elements. For example we painted over the crappy really dark brown wood paneling in the basement and it makes it feel cottagey down there so I went with that as my decor inspiration. In our kitchen, the cabinets were not in too great of condition and they were TINY so we did have to replace those and also changed the layout of them because our kitchen had a peninsula that closed off the space making it feel smaller. Anyway we got new cabinets but had to save on countertops by doing the Formica but I love the design we chose and maybe down the road we could change them to quartz but it was just too much with all the other projects we’re doing and the kitchen needed to be done because it made me a little depressed to be in such a small dark space. A lot of home Reno is definitely compromise but the way I see it is, if the house is sturdy, and everything is working properly and I have solid cabinets then I can live with a cheaper option for the countertops
I absolutely love that you're renovating an old home! I wish I could get my husband to take that leap with me. Some of the architecture that these homes have is beyond beautiful. Nothing like your typical copy and paste new builds

Everything looks beautiful I love the new light bright kitchen and all the simple decor very pleasing to the eye and your pots are amazing I had seen one of the UA-camrs she had gotten her said the golden hour and it was beautiful as well maybe someday I’ll make the investment I know good parts are a very special essential commodity To have a new kitchen I am a grandma great grandma and I do a lot of Latin cooking so I love using pots and pans and cooking it makes me happy thank you again be blessed

Gavecit a fresh coat of paint and happy .Enjoy your beautiful kitchen.
It’s definitely made a dent in our savings but it raises property value so it’s worth every penny!

Oh my gosh girl love the kitchen! Hey we did the same, new floors, new countertops but painted our cabinets and tho new hardware we kept the hinges. Those are hard to replace. We just spray painted them. If I didn’t fall in love with pots and pans I used in Greece so I purchased similar ones when I came home, I would definitely buy caraway! Love the brunch! 😋 Can’t wait to see how you decorate the kitchen!
