We explore the Coral Bay Strip.. the bars the restaurant's and we make some new friends..

- well.. in this episode we visit the coral bay strip and explore the bars and restaurants.. and we come across a couple of donkeys called Mary and George.. they resided at the Othello restaurant on the Coral Bay Strip so we take a look around.. for some more of this madness come and join us..
Landed today at Pahos Airport. It was quite sunny. But before long a storm came and there was thunder on my trip to the hotel.
After I arrived at my hotel I decided to take a walk and explore Coral Bay. Unfortunately I got drenched despite having thick coat on.
But I made on foot to the Coral Bay strip about 30 mins later.
I went round to Fry Days and the Frog and toad sadly after 2pm not serving food.
Santa Marina didn't let me down with there Calamari and chips.
Got talking with the locals.
Went to Philippos Supermarket.
Only the bus wouldn't except card.
So had to walk home.
Hopping tomorrow weather will be better.
Well.. Elnido sorry to hear about your bad experience, hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day, but they are still saying more rain on and off.. may see you around.. 👍😎
In The Keg this afternoon, and spotted you lovely people going past. Waved but missed you. Wanted to buy you a beer, as we are regular visitors and also love Paphos, and your enthusiasm.

We've known Demetri for years. His grandfather, Nicko used to cook for us when we were kids back in the 1980s. It was on the exact same site as today but no building, nothing either side of it. Just a dusty floor and a few tables and a BBQ out back. We saw him as a young boy and used to joke with him that one day he would be running the restaurant. His Mum, Sue lives there with him.
Well.. yet again we bring back fond memories.. Demetri was a true superstar.. and his mum Sue.. we really enjoyed our visit and we chatted with him and his mum for a good 20 mins.. when you arrive we can all go there and eat.. 😎
@@marikame7713 yes we can go back for a drink. They do a fairly decent Cypriot style breakfast there. Sue will remember us and she was fond of our grandfather, Arthur and grandmother Gwen.

Love your videos, staying in coral bay for the first time in September, would love to see you visit the villas in Kings avenue as that is where we will be staying. Must visit the diamond shop in paphos when there as I do service/repair estimates for longines watches. Keep up the good work😁👍

I will be coming to paphos last week of May and will be coming to coral bay will take a look at that restaurant thanks for the video also the weather looks fabulous 😊

Yes I have been coming to paphos for a long time my husband is Greek/Cypriot and was born in London his parents are from Famagusta hope to see you on my travels I am staying in Mandria

Demetrius and Sue will look after all of the tourists who eat at their restaurant. I remember Demetrius when he was a little boy as we used to eat at his restaurant in the 1980s. It was our favourite restaurant and we used to enjoy their suckling pig and fresh fish.
Well.. Demetris and him mum Sue where very friendly and inviting and we enjoyed our little chat and look forward to seeing them again.. and George and Mary.. the to gate keeper's.. 😎
