Wink i got a question and maybe a interesting topic for a video. I have a family memeber who recently got out of a bad relationship. His ex pressed false charges on him and he ended up with a fresh misdemeanor domestic violence charge and finally decided to end the relationship. Prior to this situation he obtained his Security + and was working on a cloud computing cert(dont remember which one). The question is.... is his dream of pursing IT over? Or is it possible to land a IT job with these type of charges. He is in VA so there is now way to have it expudged.
Great question. his dream of pursuing IT is not over. I have a close friend who has a rather tough background and has done time. He does the same work and is getting into networking . My friend also told employers about his background because they still choose if they want to hire you . He can still do his thing
I know Helpdesk is kind of geared toward entry level, traditionally, but these days some places require more. I recommend getting all the certs you can. Figure out what makes you tick in I.T. though and build from there. Only question is how bad do you want it. :)
Much respect for making a desk look nice for a new user. That's how it should be done. Some people do it if the person is a VP or some big shot only.
💯 set up who lever needs it
Ok 202Wink

Do you have a Active Directory at home to learn more?
You should be able to set one up on your home pc yes
@@202WinkProductions yes. I was curious if you use it at home to learn? Like a lab. I do.
Think help desk is entry or id need to get my A+ net and security certs first?
Entry level. A+ is good to have to get your foot in the door if you don’t have experience.
Entry
