2024 Honda Accord test drive + review - average guy tested

- Welcome back to average guy tested - in today's video I will be doing my first ever review of a Honda! May sound crazy with all of the auto reviews I've done throughout the years, but traditionally Hondas and rental lots rarely meet. So I was excited when I got to Newark airport to find a 2024 Honda Accord with under 800 miles on it on the National Car Emerald isle.
I had just a few hours to put the Accord through its paces - hopefully you'll enjoy the ride as much as I did.

It really is a great little sedan.
The Accord EX model should have rear AC vents at least.

While the Asian and European brands continue to advance and improve sedans, the US brands have almost completely given up on the segment, except for rental Malibu and the carjacker's favorite Charger/Challenger. Don't care for the tiny turbo 1.5 engine and the humdrum CVT that is permeating so many models nowadays. Surprised to see any Honda at a rental lot, they were almost impossible to find, unless there is a rental place near a Honda dealer.
I agree. I loved the Accord. Have you ever driven one?
@@averageguytested Older ones, like a 1999 and later one from the 2010. But I know they're now more like the Acura used to be, just like the new Camry drives like an older Lexus. They are getting better, but also less affordable. The US brands gave up cause they just could not compete. Funny thing is all these Asian brands are made here, so cannot blame the American worker for this.

Looks like the LX with a sunroof. Entry level but I thought it was pretty impressive in both style and functionality. You can’t go wrong with Toyota or Honda.

its an EX...it has heated seats and the sun roof which the LX does not have

now thats the size of car i can handle not too much bigger well i did work as a gartner and drove a flatbed truck but it was old busted up no need to be careful like is it was nice or a car like this oh hows Percy ?? must be old by now if otherwise i´m sorry
