Can't wait for you to do a review/tutorial on Nude Dip. That is the only one quad I own from TF and I love it. I was hoping you would say your #1 pick was Nude Dip and you did. I am so happy!!!
Nude Dip was my first Tom Ford quad and started my obsession. Now have 6 and most are the wet dry formula. The exception is Coco Mirage which I use with Nude Dip. They pair beautifully.
I ended up getting Nude Dip for $38.99 I haven’t used it yet and now I’m so excited! You got a better deal than I did!!
That Palette at $88 is amazing. At the price we picked it up, it's a dream😁🤣 I hope you love it as much as I do❤💋

Yep, if you’re going to get a Tom Ford quad, you definitely have to get the wet/dry formula. The shimmers are smooth and sophisticated.
The nude dip will be my wedding palette 😍😍😍😍 I got it as a gift from the company and its perfection!
In my collection of Tom Ford's palettes I have only wet and dry formula. I love and enjoy them all. In summer time I'm happy to use Solei ET Lune and Solei Naige. I have also Nude Dip and First Frost for everyday makeup. And when I'm in mood for bronze goddess I put Suspicious on my eyelids 😍 stunning palettes

Pretty baby was my first from tom ford and I really like it! Then I bought nude dip. That wet to dry formula!! I wish I could find a tom ford version of pillow talk. The "pop" shade is a let down but I like the colors

His wet dry formula is amazing!!!! I have bada$$, first frost, denim metallic and cognac rose(?) both from the Nordstroms sale. They are all so beautiful. I love quads because I don’t have to think and I create looks that appear as though they took a lot of work! Great video!!!
MY first TF quad was Honeymoon and it is a wet dry formula. Since then I purchased Suspicion, Desert Fox, Mink Mirage and a new one Cognac Rose during the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I do like mattes that’s why I have the two you ranked low. What doesn’t work for some works for others. That’s just how it goes. I may still get Nude Dip and Body Heat. Thanks Tara.

I have mink mirage and cannot stop using it. It blends like a dream! I do pair it with a shimmer on my lid.
I actually went to that store in Florida this summer too , I bought that palette and have been non stop wearing it !! It’s SO GOOD !
I’ve just recently got into TF shadows and this is super helpful and informative! My favourite is Nude dip and I got it on sale. Recently purchased disco dust but have yet to use it! Excited to add more to my collection!! 😊💜
I do like the wet dry formula the best. I have 3 Cocoa mirages which I snagged before they disappeared. I love Nude Dip, Pretty Baby, Indemnity, Honeymoon, Pretty Baby. My two favorites are the Soliel with the mint shade and the Daydreamer ( I have 2 of those). The wet/dry formula is best. I have bought all of them on sale, except for the Cocoa Mirage, because I knew it was going, going, gone.
Girl! I was at the CCS outlet in St Augustine today! I picked up the Golden Mink quad. It’s dangerous every time I go in there! But such a steal is hard to resist. I’m gonna have to reconsider Body Heat after hearing how much you love it. Thanks for such honest and thorough reviews of the quads.

All my Tom Ford is from the CCS and I think I have 12? quads. My favorite is Virgin Orchid. I am also in love with the TF Shade and Illuminate Soft Radiance Foundation.

Yepp 😍👍nude dip is also my favorite palette from TF, I have bought for full price and I don't regret it, I agree the wet/dry formula is the only reason to get TF palette for full price 😜
First Frost and Pretty Baby are my favorites in my collection. Daydream and African Violet are also really nice.
I like the desert fox palette, for the same reasons you don't like it, because it is very subtle & matt, I can do a non make up make up look with it. It's not for glam occasions for sure, but every day use when I want to wear make up but don't at the same time lol
I boug my first TF quad on Saks Off Fifth online. Then checked out the Cosmetics Company stores here in N TX. Hit the mother load and bought a bunch in that $30-40 range. You tubers like you Tara helped me decide which ones that aren’t worth it... mostly purchased wet / dry formula.
Nude Dip is also my favorite palette from TF. Love Body Heat too ❤
you look as beautiful as ever. i don’t have any of his quads, but i already know that i want nude dip, pretty baby, first frost, double indemnity and daydream. i actually daydream about starting a TF collection. there’s a CCS about 15 minutes from the hospital i’m in here in tampa and i wish i could break free from here and take an uber there just to look at what they have.
Such a fun video! First Frost has been on my wish list for so long now, I think I just need to make the plunge and buy it! I feel like you would LOVE the Suspicion palette. It is my #1 Tom Ford palette of all time and I have even hit pan on 2 of the shades! It's so good if you like warm tones and golds/bronzes! 😊
First Frost has been showing up at the cosmetic company stores. I think at 40% off and I got mine from the Delaware store! You can call and have it shipped to you!

I love that first frost palette so much! I got the first one as a gift and got a back up from the CCO lol. I think you'd LOVE the Honeymoon and Suspicion quads! They are just as good as first frost and they are just creamy goodness!! I've seen both at CCOs and if I'm not mistaken you can call stores and have them ship items to you. I've been on the hunt for Tom Ford lost cherry candles. That fragrance is amazing imo.
So strange, before I saw this video I told myself: you have only 2 quads, which are amazing (Nude Dip and First Frost) and I put Body Heat in my cart. Seeing your top 4, I am happy with my choice 😍

I have most of the shade and illuminate palettes none of the wet dry formula is that great,the wet dry quads are beautiful, mercurial and suspicion and day dream are my favs😘
I went to the cosmetic co at the outlets here in North Carolina and nothing was cheaper. I went bc you talked about how you got this when you got back from vacay. I was so hoping to get some at that price!!! I will still go and look when I see them just in case
They mark them for the full-price ($88) but usually have at least 50% off. Next time you go have a sales associate give you the actual price.
Nude Dip is the only TF palette I have and got it for $44 at Bergdorf Goodman sale 😁. I love it … it’s soooo beautiful 💕

Hey Tara, I hope you & your family are well. I have 2 Tom Ford quads. I know I do but for some reason I only find 1 of them. Hopefully I can find the other one. I can’t even remember what it looked like. But the one I have right now is number 12 Seductive Rose. It is nice I like it. The shimmery shades are so pretty. But I have to use a glitter glue. You do get a beautiful look. It’s very nice, but very pricey for 4 shades. Catching them on sale is much better. Tara I really love some of the ones you got. Especially the ones with the white packaging. Thanks for ranking your Tom Ford quads. It was fun seeing your collection. Have a nice weekend Tara.

The Coquette palette works really well for me! Its light but I am medium skin tone and I like it alot❤️

Omg I ordered and got Pop Dust /Rose Prism, yesterday and am returning it today! I was so disappointed Tara.. there is NO pigment at all… I love the wet dry formula too- and I missed out on the Soleil D’Hiver warm peach quad from a year or so ago and thought two of the shades would be close but they literally barely show up on my skin.. maybe you will have a different experience🤷🏻♀️ I hope so.
I know the Soleil D’hiver is showing up in the cosmetic company stores! I got mine from the Delaware store and I called and purchased over phone and they shipped it to me!

@@Loralarify I bought it like 2 weeks ago so hopefully they still have some. There is only 1 Delaware store so if you google it or go the the cosmetics company website and scroll all the down and they have a directory of all the stores they have and the phone numbers. If that store doesn’t have it I know some stores will look in their system and see what other locations might have it. I believe it was 40% off!

That Nude Dip palette looks beautiful Tara and what a bargain! That’s the only way I would buy Tom Ford eyeshadows, reduced, because the full price is ridiculous. Tom Ford is too big for his boots charging that much, should be $55 tops. I do have the Pretty Baby palette and I bought that at a reduced price. I love it so I would be interested to know how you feel about it, maybe a video?🥰💜

I have first frost-love it. I mean love it. I also have the other two version of the shade & illuminate face palettes. I’m not mad at them because I got them for like “cheap” (TF cheap) because they were on sale and one I used my rewards to buy so it was free. I like the purple one best of the two though the bronzer is a no go for me. I just use it as a shadow.
Rose Prisme and Metallic Denim are on the way to me now, which will bring me up to a (shameful) 37 quads. My favorites are definitely the W/D formula. Mercurial is a really good one that is LE, so you should grab it before it disappears. It’s like Body Heat and Honeymoon had a baby. IMO, Pretty Baby is one of his best ones outside the w/d family.
I would like to try a TF quad, but the price is so ridiculous that the CT quads seem nicely priced in comparison 😩

Tara Lynn, I’m trying to decide bw the VB eye brick in silk or this Tom Ford palette in nude dip. I’m wanting something that can be an everyday and I can also do a Smoky look for night. If you had to pick one of these which would you pick? I know they are different but they are also both good day choices and go to night.

Hope you don't think this is a stupid question but, what is a wet dry formula? I could probably research it but I figured I would ask you. Is it a formula that you can use dry and also wet your brush and pick up the product and use it wet? Obviously I'm a rookie!
No question is a stupid question 😁❤ The wet dry formula means that it is dry but when you apply it, it looks wet 😁 Super shiny and smooth💋

Wet dry formula, is it the normal eyeshadow? Sorry for asking but with ageing I want to be sure as most of eyeshadows are a nightmare at the moment... I saw the Tom ford pots which are creamy and no creamy and the single eyeshadows.

That's a great idea😁 I have bought several Quads since filming this. I'll definitely put that on the list🩷 And, so far, I only picked up the Forbidden Pink Quad. I am not sure about the others😁😉❤️
@@TaraLynnbeauty I ended up getting all 3 of his new pallets and i originally LOVED Forbidden Pink the most but after only 3 uses my favorite shade (the copper/peachy metallic) already has hard pan is is difficult to pick up 😟. I do really like the Smoked Cherry (it’s not as dark as I thought it would be which I’m glad about) and Electric Cherry is great if you like monochromatic looks but I LOVE it for pairing with other palettes!

This is so helpful Tara. Tom Ford is ridiculously overpriced so picking a really good palette that not only performs well but is in a colourway that suits the buyer, is mega important.

Ok Body Heat might just have to be my first TF quad 🤗
I have soooo many my favorites are some of the older ones like cognac sable and shara haze cocoa mirage but i have a great love for many my fav right now is the cognac rose but i find the palegtes hard to work with n i really have to take my time layer be precise and i have to use a primer its kind of alot for a good blending formula thats suplosed to be easy but i aleays figuted its me
Thanks for the honest opinions. I got the combo face and eye compact, too. Totally disappointed. I like some of his handbags and perfume. His eyebrow pens are good.
Im the same skin tone as you. But the nude dip pink and grey shades look so similar on me. The lighest shade is too icy. Swatched it in store. Didnt like it. I was expecting honeymoon to be in here.
Nude Dip will be my first Tom Ford palette and unfortunately I paid much more than 32 USD..
Tara I just took the plunge and got my first TF palette after watching this... I'm so disappointed (I picked up body heat). It just looks awful on me, shades don't blend well and have hardly any shine. I think I must be doing something wrong! I had such high expectations 😢
I know you’ll think I’m a head case when I say this but I hated cocoa mirage. I ended up throwing mine away after trying forever to make it work and like it. Ugh. I have a couple Tom ford little round powder and cream eyeshadows I never reach for, one blush that is overrated and one highlight I hang on to. I doubt I’ll ever buy from them again. I can get two palettes for the cost of one and 5 times the number of shades
Hi Tara, I am so sorry about your beautiful Great Dane..... I need your advice for an outside wedding, wondering which foundation to go with : I know you like Dior spray, Chantecille compact, Tom Ford traceless stick, or new huda Glo Beauty??
Are the two darker shades too similar for body heat?
2 things-I promise you your disappointment with that TF palette didn’t come close to my disappointment with the Natasha Denona new love eye/face palette. The other thing is I think the final consensus on the mink mirage was that thought it’s a nice neutral palette the coco mirage which it replaced was a better palette. I thought Mel T was going to have a heart attack when she found out mink mirage was being discontinued. She went out and bought at least 2 more. She liked that palette so much to the point she rarely wore it because she didn’t want to hit pan.
I bought the new Tom Ford face and eye palette, the White Suede. (I reluctantly bought it at The Cosmetic Company store, and paid $70 for it) What a total waste of good money. But, I'm glad i didn't pay full price for it so I'm using the few decent shades in it so it doesn't go to waste🤷♀️ I guess i didn't learn from the last one 🤣 I'm a glutton for punishment I guess🫣 Regarding the Mink Mirage. I bought that Palette because of Mel, and it's one of my favs to grab when I need a great Matte with neutral tones😁
Surprised you don't have Honeymoon. That was the first one I got and I could pretty much have stopped buying eyeshadows after that, I didn't but you know what I mean lol. I only have 3 Tom Ford palettes as they are even more expensive here (Australia), I do really like that wet/dry formula though.

Not sure what it is but it may be reminds me of my mums quads back in the 80's. I'm just not feeling it, especially when I found out TF owned by Estee lauder, like many brands but that's all my mum brought, Estee lauder everything and I was never impressed with them 😔
You should have returned the palettes that didn't work for you. I don't return much, but I sure returned those new palettes that just came out. Those are way too expensive to keep if they are junk.
If I didn't have a channel I definitely would have. But I keep them for future Swatches for Comparisons of other releases. But totally agree, at this price point, they don't need to stay. And in some countries they're not allowed to return so it's so important to have honest reviews so they make a good buying choice❤😁🦋 thank you for watching❤💋

I loved the colors and the initial looks, but they were dry and creased so bad. His wet/dry formulas are my favorite too. Thanks for being honest in your reviews. The whole brand is just overpriced.. had 2 of his palettes, both are thrown away.. nothing else in his line makes me want to spend so many coins.. i am in Canada so this quads are 105 dollars? Or something around that.. his foundations might be the only thing which is intereseting but again so overpriced.. i would pick CT eyeshadow any day over his.. love your videos!! You are a breath of fresh air !
The Tom Ford glow tinted moisturizer is absolutely incredible. I have body heat and nude dip and his wet dry formula is so overrated in my opinion. That tinted moisturizer though is my absolute holy grail beauty product. If you can go by a cosmetics company store they sell his stuff for 40% off, that’s where I buy the glow tint

I also got Nude Dip at the CCS as my first Tom Ford quad ever, and I just dont understand why people love it so much. What am I missing??
In the palette, its all shimmer and cool tones which does not appeal to me….but everyone is raving about it. I have pretty baby and I love it! But not so sure about Nude Dip. May I ask, why do you not like it?
@@raaziabanks2552 the brown is so dark that it looks more grey on me, and the other colors, though shiny, all kind of look the same on the eye.

Tom ford tends to be one of the brands that have lower quality products with limited edition releases most of the time, so i need to read and do my research before purchasing anything…
For the amount payed i usually stop myself and think… tom ford know how to make products stand out with no single excuse
I don't think I have seen a good review of a tom ford palette in the last year, maybe longer (except first frost). I am happy with owning the couple I have and don't feel like I need any more.
Tara, you should be hired as Tom Ford eyeshadow Top Adviser! my Goodness He has lost his mojo! 😢 for some reason his quality is not what used to be, his latest Collection nothing but mediocrity, no this madness has to stop, for the price every shadow should be outstanding out of this world.
