Before they got on, Maria saw a glimpse of the carriage where she met her husband. She ran to it but then saw her husband kissing the princess, daughter of the king. She was very young unlike Maria and beautiful like Maria used to be. She got angry and thought her husband married her because of her beauty and because she was young. She then started thinking her kids were both a mistake and she then hated her kids. She without thinking flipped over the canoe where the kids were on and screamed at them " I hate you! You were a mistake!" Her husband then saw Maria screaming and looked shocked when he saw the bodies of the children. He smiled and went on kissing the princess. Maria screamed " Aye!!! Mis hijos!" Them dove into the river and drowned herself. She then wasn't aloud by god into heaven since she commited 2 sins, murder and suicide. She snatches kids thinking they are her own.
