Many people who say that have literally no concept of nature or birds and their lives. Do you think that flash is brighter or more dangerous than say a bolt of lightning which happens very often in this territory? The biggest hear-say on this subject probably comes from strictly birders, who never stop to think that with out bird photographers they'd have no idea about the many different species of birds. The only problem is that the birds we saw were terribly fast and unpredictable .
