These two had such amazing instantaneous chemistry from the off that all I could think was 'I bet they regret making that character Lenny Bruce' because the relationship has a really definitive endpoint.

These characters are amazing together, such a sizzling🔥couple and a big draw card to continue watching until the final episode. I just hope that instead of witnessing Lenny's demise, they finish the series with him relocating to LA (in real life he actually owned a home in California) and Midge staying in NY because of her commitment to career and kids, making their relationship short lived but very passionate while it lasts. They could then wrap up the finale before 1966, when he actually OD's. That would be how I would write the script, at least it would lessen the trauma for everyone.
oh my god i think i'm in love with this guy. I've always found men from ancient times attractive. This man can make people fall in love with him even with just his looks and facial expressions. Even his distant gaze is so charismatic. I should definitely watch this series.
