    Intelligent, Legendary, introspective, soulful,
More importantly: Talented beyond any of these words written.
He defines what the essence of jungle/Drum & Bass Mc’s should aspire to become
    Our voice.. ❤️

Been a fan of bukem and Conrad since the 90s. Met them both for the first and only time in 2002 funny guys and masters in their own right.
Anyways the essential mix from 95 and 96 they are timeless. Also logical progression level 1 and progression session Japan 2002. Show case Conrad at his best.

Amazing just how many lives he touched. God tier MC for sure.... All of the artwork was done by our inhouse GLR design team of Nick Purser and Gareth Paul Jones (both of which now run their own design studios if you google them) but If I remember rightly Progression Sessions 8 'Live at The End' artwork was done solely by Gareth.
FYI easy mistake to make, but you called one of the albums 'Progression Sessions 4', where it is in fact 'Logical Progression 4' which was pretty much an MC Conrad artist album as you say. (there is another limited edition 3xCD version of the album where all of Conrad's tracks were remixed by GLR artists GLRCD004X). One album you seem to be missing is 'Vocalist 01' which again was a Mc Conrad artist album with some of his most famous lyrics over GLR releases and well worth checking out, especially to any new comers to his music.

My birthday is the 28th and I’ll be playing Conrad’s work for the rest of my life! Wasn’t fun having a birthday and then having such an amazing person pass so close to it but life is not convenient. I’ll take him along with me as I always have with others I’ve lost. RIP Conrad 🫶🏻

Thanks for this, much appreciated. I managed to pick up Vocalist 01 and have been playing it this weekend. Its still not sunk in yet tbh. He was the best.

I was really shocked to learn of this. He came from the same town as me and I used to go see him and bukem and other glr guys in london a lot in the naughties for progression sessions and logical progression. So gutted. He is one of the best mc’s to do it, he actually complimented the music rather than ruined it like a lot of other so called mc’s. Also came from an era when rave was born which was a very special time in music. Never to be repeated. RIP Connie 🙏🏻 think I was at that gig of the first cd you presented when it was recorded In london. Epic night.

So sad mate, you've said it much better than me. I'm still in shock. You're right, his energy on the mic was spot on, not overbearing, not the big 'I am' just huge love for the music.. just so sad he couldn't make things up with Danny and do a reunion. Love and thoughts going out..

Shit , shame that tune on logical progression with bukem and him was legendary western listen to that now still hold up nearly 30 years later groundbreaking trailblazers the pair of them , one of the first proper produced D&B albums and know where u coming from with the jazz thing big influence there although never rated jazz but maybe just never have it that time , will start checking more out now as getting older like u say late 40’s to know about it if you were there 👍👌

He was diabetic which will definitely play apart. I'm type 1 for over 30 years and it gets worse over time.
Be interested to know the exact details but whatever happened LTJ BUKEM AND MC CONRAD ARE LEGENDS ALL DAY LONG. THEY TRANSFORMED DNB. THEY PLAYED LIQUID BEFORE THE TERM WAS EVEN EVER THOUGHT ABOUT
      SOULFUL, MELODIC, ATMOSPHERICAL MUSIC
LOVED THEIR SOUND SINCE 1991 AND WILL DO TILL I GO
      INCREDIBLE ARTIST
