I think the major fail for this goggle is the lack of the diopter holder like the old Fatshark and Skyzone goggles. Have the focus adjust is great for people, but not for everyone. I would still have to use diopters since I have a bad astigmatism and a +7 script. I'm still using my Skyzone 02v+ goggles and love them, but really want a newer set like the 03O. I can't find a way to justify a purchase of new goggles yet though. I'm starting to lean towards DJI, but still am holding out until they release new ones or maybe wait for the SharkByte thing, hope that actually works this time around.
Skyzone quality but Eachine support, at $500 I'm not sure I'd go for them. If it were Skyzone support I'd feel more confident in purchasing/recommending them. They do look really good.
if the velcro does not stick anymore use 3M 9088 Tape 19mm. i did cut the overlapped edges from the tape with a cutter kniv. since this its complete tight.
If this is a teaser product for the Skyzone Sky04O, I'll just wait and get them! Adjustable focus, external module bay, and scroll wheels instead of too many buttons? Yeah, I'll sell my Sky03O for that! Sorry for Eachine...
Hopefully the latency will be manageable on this one. Seems they did everything right in the UI dept, and as you've attested to for the fit & viewing, it seems they had the right focus in producing a truly top-notch goggle. Let's see some more in-depth testing to see if it holds up on the bigger view. If so this should displace the HDO2 & 03O since it has the best of both with far better fit experience and new features.
A lot of interesting features! The price is almost the same as for the FatShark HDO2. I hope one day someone will develop a digital module for these goggles 🙂
Hey man, would you happen to know the dimensions of the ev300o fan and screw holes? I ordered a set of the goggles and ordered a lzr-mini antenna (so it all fits installed in a case) but wasn’t too sure if the fan on top has similar dimensions as the fatsharks since this antenna hooks up there
Great video. Do you think I could attach a miracast dongle to the hdmi in and cast my phone screen? I’m trying to find a way to use these goggles to see the video on a mavic
You go Eachine! Been using your products since the 007's. And the tx02 aio camera. When my fatsharks peeter out , guess which goggles are next, hard to beat your prices too. Thanks for the heads up bro!
Mine arrived yesterday and I need to swap the face plate, but it seems beyond me... In spite of all attempts to detach the current one from the goggles - I have beet unable to - I tried prying those 5 clips, I also tried to gently pry the screwdriver on the outside between the plate and the goggles, but it fits so tight that it seems impossible to do it without damaging either or both of them... 🥴 There's no info on this in the user manual or Eachine's website, I was unable to find a review or any other online source showing how to do it in spite of hours of research... I'm pretty disappointed and desperate....
A question on the focal range of these goggles. At 61 years old I wear glasses and need plus diopters. The manual states the focal range as 0 to -6. From your experience does the focal range extend to positive diopters (magnification) or truly stops at zero and has only negative diopter range?? Thanks.
these actually seem to be way better than I expected. Only thing that I hate about them is the Skyzone casing. That glossy paint looks extremely cheap and low quality.

The nice thing about the eachine googles it has a hdmi in and the new fat shark 🦈 product that will make the eachine googles have a digital picture so the eachine googles could go digital shortly.
Sky zone 030 copy with focus.. I'm very impressed with them if they weren't more expensive I probably would have went with this but I love my Sky Zones I just got them coming from the eachine VR D2 Pro
Well, it is Eachine... What about warranty? When you have 1 month warranty for throwaway EV800D is one, but 1 month warranty for 250$+ price level googles is another thing.
