This is why expat > digital nomad. Or at least long term living, having a base for 6mo + etc. So time consuming living a lifestyle out of a backpack, spending time on new relationships, getting accustomed to new surroundings etc. financially and mentally draining.
A LOT of the DNs I followed when I started my journey quit. Only a few are still nomading strong. The common denominator for those still nomading is a successful business(es) and/or investor status. I think for those that quit either found themselves at last...I like the saying that goes "try and fail, but don't fail to try" 🤷🏾♂️
