Thanks for your review. I smelled it all the airport and it was an instant no, But on the flight home, the scent developed into a different scent which got my attention 😊. Got home and bought the set❤❤❤.

At first I didn’t care for it, but there was something to it that still intrigued me, so I kept smelling it throughout the day, wore it on my wrist, and soon I couldn’t stop sniffing it and thinking about it. It’s true when you said it’s a very complex fragrance. Its scent brings up some memories for me but I’m not sure what lol, but I know it makes me feel really nostalgic, warm, and at peace. I came on here to get someone else’s take on it! I also agree it’s a bit more of a mature scent, which is something I’ve been looking for in a perfume as of lately. I’ll be purchasing this one for sure!

For me it is, sharp, dry, fruity, thick and earthy. Your comparison with the grapefruitnote in Monsieur Li and Jour'd Hermes is spot on!
I am glad that you reviewed this one. Someone gifted a bottle to me from the UK to the US. I like this one. This is a very unisex smell and I'd rather it on my guy. I have been wearing it and I do love the strong sharp tart note. The tartness cuts the sweetness, which is why I think it fits better on a man rather than on me. It is not something that I reach for often. It is not an offensive smell at all. I think it is an all-year-round fragrance. I would prefer to wear it in the summer. An absolute love for a guy but a like on me because I am a gourmand lover. Long-lasting. FYI, I have gotten no compliments for this one. I think that it doesn't have a strong projection unless you over-spray it.

I absolutely love it and purchased a bottle. But, I can't smell it on me after an hour. I faintly get whiffs on my clothing but lose it on my skin. Sad, because I really like it!
To me, what Barenia and Angel by Mugler have in common is a very prominent honey note - I’m not even sure there is supposed to be a honey note in them but that is exactly what I smell

My favorite is Jour d’Hermes precisely because of the beautifully smooth citrus-grapefruit note. It has such an elegant style too. Hopefully my local Nordstrom has this to sample. SOTD on this cool fall day is Miss Dior EDP 2017 version 🍃🍂
@@DeliciousDelights Arlene, I finally smelled this last weekend on a tester strip and quite liked it too! Like you said, it does have a mature vibe, but not in an ultra old school way. It definitely smelled expensive. If you've already been through 3 samples now, do you have a verdict yet? I can see how people would associate the patchouli with Angel, but they're so different otherwise. Hopefully you'll update us in a future video. Maybe you'll make a Christmas wish list video? 🎅
I am about to try this one too even it is female targeted. i love HERMES for not following trends and doing something different. I had few bottles from Jardin collection, Concentre d'Orange Verte, EDT Terre and perfume too, now I own Givree. I wasnt sure about H24 EDT as i felt there is something synthetic or ingedience giving me light nausea. I tried also EDP and Herbes Vives but still wasnt sure of the scent or the performance. It is nice Hermes offers to combine and select more scents into small gift pack I guess I will do it for those I consider. Can you please tell us what website do u use for samples? I live in germany and I think I might use it too, Thank you!
Ahh yes I admire Hermes for the same reasons. Samples...I either ask for them at the store, or they come as freebies with purchases. I also use ebay to buy samples and official perfume websites as well. :)

Barenia reminds me of Jour D' Hermes Absolu. I really like it but I think it is gonna be redundant in my collection.

This is very strong perfume, opening is very good, with that fruity note. Than smell sweet woods, but than its masculine leaning.
