Great video. Well done. You are an impressive young man, obviously focused on all the right things. I wish you and all NU students much success. -A 1981 ECE graduate
All facts! The tunnels are so under hyped. I had 10 mins to go from ISEC to dodge and even though the tunnels don’t connect them going from snell to dodge in the winter helped a lot!
NEU grad from 05. Great video! Wished i had professor ratings back then. Some profs were terrible and only once a bad prof was canned. It was only bc a bunch of rich parent donors complained to the provost.
i was wondering though-- in your experience is it easy to navigate requirements and get in contact with advisors? especially with opportunities like NUin and co-op im worried certain requirements might get forgotten until last minute and i wont be as on track as i would hope to be :/
hi, yes the advisors at northeastern have been super helpful with guiding students throughout the whole academic/co-op process. scheduling a meeting with them generally is not difficult and they definitely help with guiding you towards the right direction. in terms of for co-op, you'll have a separate co-op advisor who will be there throughout the whole process. best of luck!
I just got accepted, but i am afraid i won’t meet their grade standards to keep the acceptance. i am quite literally failing ap calc rn because i started the semester with covid, and we covered 2 units in that month. with little remorse from my teachers, i did horrible on both tests and am now sitting at an F with very little left to go in the gradebook. i need at least a C, but i’m afraid i won’t get that. i got A’s and B+’s last semester, but a C- in calc. first semester also had some covid issues, but i’m more worried about second semester, as that all comes from a covid situation. am i totally screwed or can it be fine?
hey, sorry about your situation, personally I'd recommend reaching out to your teachers/guidance counselors about this. They'd probably be able to support and help you best! Sorry I can't give you much but as long as you give it your all and communicate your issues with the teacher/guidance counselors you should be able to push through! best of luck!
@@safawalid6807 haha idk honestly. i withdrew my acceptance and went to another school, so i can’t give a clear answer on their policy with low grades.
ah i got into northeastern for regular decision and I'm pretty nervous. I got accepted into the health science major at bouvé college :). this video really helped. Just one question, is it really required that all first years live on campus?
hi congrats! glad the video helped! yes I believe that all first years and second years are required to live on campus unless if their co-op experience is outside of Boston.
I’m also a health science major but I’m going into my 2nd year! Living on campus can be kinda tough bc I feel like you never really get close to the people on ur floor like you do in a lot of other schools. So my biggest piece of advice is def make lots of friends the first week or even try to get close with the people on ur floor! (Like by picking the health science or healthy living LLC) You can also join clubs you are interested in and make friends there, that’s how I met a lot of ppl like me. Lmk if u have any questions!
@@haileykoppelman5091 ah that’s so great! are you on a pre med track or pre PA or just majoring in health sciences? I got my schedule and i guess you can’t change them? Are schedules pre-registered? How are the dorms for first year? I have so many questions lol
Hey Brother Can I know how's the experience for Bs In Cybersecurity at there. Like i would like to know how ot feels to study At NEU for CybSec currently am In 12th from India and I would like to know more about this university and their programme
hi, in the fall we generally have breaks for thanksgiving and winter break in between the fall and spring semesters. during the spring, our spring break normally is a week during the middle of March
Could you tell about the requirements for NEU with IB? I am in my last year of HS and I want to apply to NEU for their business program and soon go for Co-op programs for work. How good of a student do you have to be too be able to apply there? I am also not giving SATs, possibly not till December but yeah. This wold really help me, thank you.
hi, unfortunately I don't know much about IB credit requirements, I'm sure you should be able to find more info on the general admissions website. best of luck!

Thank you mate. Do you know a contact number where i can talk about doing an exchange or to talk with a student of the uni?
Hello, not really sure but would recommend chatting with Northeastern Global Experience Office. They'll probably be able to provide more info!
