I appreciate you information but I feel there are some information overlooked in this video, like meego never went streamlined like symbian, single phone was launched with it and discontinued too early. nokia was already loosing its market share when iphone was launched and android launched much later in a form of touch screen device after iphone and windows was not complex but its management was . It was not OEM friendly as microsoft used to charge licensing fees for using it's platform and had very strict hardware requirements , where android was open source and apple was doing hardware and software on its own so it was very difficult to work with microsoft for other OEM and app developers.
Android was simple, user friendly and most important Free. It changed the mobile market and still the leader. Now HMD global is very slow to pick up in Android mobile market and unable to compete with Chinese low cost, high features Smartphones.
