These are all my thoughts btw, not the correct answers. - I know that the second image is The Kaaba, which is a holy shrine. - The white attire indicates that perhaps it's common apparel either for a) worship or b) casual wear. - Gatherers have umbrellas, and because it does not appear to be raining, I'm going to assume it's because of the weather and heat. - Perhaps the lamposts and the lights tie into importance; those lights are used in soccer/football fields since it is an enjoyed sport and should be seen from far, so if those lights are being used, it could be to illuminate the shrine's presence even at night (I'm not sure, these are all guesses). - The architecture has a common trend of using arcs, you can see that in the bridge. - The area appears urban, with skyscrapers and large buildings in the background. - I see cranes in the back or some other architectural device. I can imply that it is indicating that the country is continuing to develop, perhaps looking to construct more buildings or monuments? - This is stretched but I think the flooring is also important. If this (concrete?) flooring were grass, the area could become flooded or muddy, attracting fewer people. The (concrete?) flooring enables more people to gather without complications and possibly eliminates the threats of flooding.
I agree with most of these! I would like to add on a few things tho - Traditional Gender roles, men and women dressed in traditional clothes at a place of worship - Well developed place/ place on worship is of very high importance as there is a lot of golden etching on the shrine as well the as the arcs - Warm climate with very low rainfall, the buildings seem inspired from desert architecture so I would say Middle East, maybe Saudi Arabia or the UAE -I agree that the flooring is imp it's white since the act of worship requires encircling movements possibly barefoot? hence combined with the heat would make it very difficult to walk hence the white floor
From the image, I could see high rises and what seems to be the Kabah. There are many Muslims in the image and this place could be an important and sacred location. The large buildings also indicate that this place is a prominent area. Maybe they are hotels for pilgrims to stay at?
@Mr. Sinn- I can tell the picture is in Mecca, Saudi Arabia as it in the background you can tell the city is in a urban are and is fairly developed, in the picture you can also tell that it is a religious assemble as many people are wearing religious attire and are praying and facing the same direction. Also you can see a black stone which is the Kaaba also known as "God's House" which is a famous and prestigious site for Muslims.
So what I can analyze in that image was that it was urban area, a city, pic of famous mosque, it is that black stone in front on which a conflict rise that who will put it back and Muhammad did it. Then I think it’s Mecca. I cannot tell about agriculture but I can tell that land is used to make buildings and that famous mosque. At last as I said it is mosque so religion there is Islam and language will be Arabic. Thanks Mr. Sinn I think now I will be able to pass my AP test for ch-3 which is on 22 nov,2020 the Monday. I would watch the rest of videos too.
I said right foot creep oooo walkin with that heater look around stay low make sure they dont see em catch em back walk down and face em with the heater
It is culturally insensitive to assume that just because women are wearing hijabs, the area is developing. There is no doubt, Indonesia is an LDC, however, when using evidence to prove that, do not say that hijabs are a sign of development. They are a religious garment and do not show signs of development.
Ah I believe that he was making that assumption off of there being more mopeds than cars along with a lack of newer car models, not the people wearing hijabs
I believe he was just referencing the hijabs to identify the religion that might be practiced in that area to better narrow down which country it may be, and was not saying that women wearing hijabs are a sign of less developed countries.
@@laurenq7272 That's a very broad assumption. Men and women are equal but serve different roles. Neither men nor women are more significant rather both are equal and need each other to survive.
You deserve a cookie for your hard work, sir. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, they help out a lot😊

i dont think thats what he said but alr.
Hes right cause hijabs are a sign that women are less important than men and also that in most developing areas men are more significant
