They say that if a gay or lesbian couple raise a kid together, the kid will be messed up... But why? Plenty of people have raised a child on there own without a mom or dad. And by denying these people, theyre saying that men can't teach caring, kindness, and compassion, & that women can't teach strength, toughness, and determination..
@MegaMissymee What person DOESN'T hate their parents? Your parents would have to be pretty awesome for someone to actually like their parents in teenage years. She probably doesn't hate them as much as she says. She just feels pressured to say that if she gets bullied.
@Funnyfish66 the reason why kids become messed up is because they firstly get bullied 2ndly they wont feel comftable 3rdly it might seem wrong to them having gay parents and there real parents not being able to be with thhem and that instead of having there bilogical parents they have these gay people in charge.. i am not saying anything bad but my friend has gay parents and she was adopted and she say she hate them and she gets bullied....

Maybe your friend should be more greatful that her current gay parents that wanted her/him, instead of wishing for parents that either didn't want her/him to begin with, or did have what it took to take care for your friend. & before you fire back just remember you went there first...
This is a good song but what i never understood about families with 2 same sex parents is who teaches what, like say 2 lesbian mothers have a son and he becomes a teenager and wants to know about things only a man knows, who teaches him an uncle? or 2 gay men have a daughter and she wants to know something that only women know whos gonna teach her?
i watched this video the whole way through... nothing occured to me other than children and loving adults... the whole gay parent thing?... sorry wasnt even in my mind 'til i read these comments! do these kids look sad?.. no. the world is changing, people are changing... if i look and see a loving family FIRST without dout or accsation i just hope im not the only member of a new generation growing up with a subconsciously different phsyce... brush off the mothballs and wake up to a new world!!

Studies have shown that gay parents can be just as good parents as straight people. What's unfair is that there are children in foster care still waiting to be adopted while gay parents are denied adoptions. Your ignorance makes me sad.
