@Kelly Buck Kelly Buck: I like everything you just said! I'm cheap as all get out, but I'd pay to stay in a hotel like this in a second! Can't believe it's not done already.
Kelly Buck that's too much of a big budget to spend for people who may not be able to afford it, people are there to go to universal so live at Hogwarts.
Another note about the butterbeer: if you are an annual passholder you can get a discount on the butterbeer inside the Three Broomsticks or the Leaky Cauldron but not at the stands outside!
Yeah... we had in Three Broomsticks... i wish my editing skill is just like him... my vlog of our tour there was funny... ha ha ha... though our experience was awesome... you can watch my vlog too... but this is way better... he he he they are expert!
Hello, random internet commentor. Whoever you are, I hope now, a year later, your finances are faring better. I too have been that low, and even lower. The pain of having no money in your account is an awful one, for sure.
My nephew was 3 when we were there and no way could we afford to pay $60 on a wand for him. Instead we found a stick and had him stand next to the people at the interactive windows. He assumed he was the one performing the magic! Parents with small children groaned when they realized they could have gotten away with the same thing! Oh and the train was awesome!
You can often find wands hidden at the parks. Potter fans often make Harry Potter themed things and hide them in the park, and wipe post a tip about it on the public Facebook page. I found st least 3 wands this way
$60 is a bit ridiculous. I thought they would cost about $40-50. Also, buy the robes from the shops that are a block or two down the street from Universal. The prices are muuuuch lower.
Single rider line! I went on forbidden journey 13 times in 1 day using it. Exit thru the gift shop, cut thru the lockers and jump back on within minutes
Margaret Beaver I don’t recall several lines of people attempting to cast the same spell in the exact same spot in any of the movies. We got our daughter an interactive wand, and I was like... “no way!” I would have said “so much for being off peak” but then they closed.
@@jillianfinley3354 A bit of clarification: Clarissa R was saying that there are a few non-Universal hotels that will allow early entry. Although it was a long walk to the entrance from my room, I would rate it an easy four stars (1 star - TERRIBLE, 5 stars - awesome, 4 great and would still recommend).
The time of year also matters but you want to avoid September because it's hurricane season. After Xmas and most of January are great times to avoid crowds BUT beware of South American/Brit tourists. There is no Harry Potter World in the UK or Ireland. I went last January and although the crowds were light the buses to the parks were packed with Brits, Scots and Irish. Then, later in the week, the South Americans POURED into the parks because mid to late January is considered spring break in their countries. The Brazilians came in such huge numbers that they needed two buses to bring in a single tour group! And very few of them were going to Disney World. A majority of them flocked to Universal when they arrived.
I want to go there soooooo bad... I have researched the website and knew about the early admission! I think is my favourite tip that I will take, that way less people will see me cry when I actually enter diagon alley.. 😅
Prime pass holder here: after being in line for Hagrids Motorbike for 30min, there was a "slight delay"...for an hour. So we got out of the ride after the park had already closed. Hogsmeade was EMPTY. Like no one. And since there was another maybe 30min of people in line the park employees dont make you leave just yet so you can get great nighttime photo ops in hogsmeade. Especially fun during winter solstice and it gets dark early
I just went- the downside is that you have to wear a mask ALL day. There are some places where you can take off your mask and rest. The plus side is virtual lines, and almost all the rides are walk ons.
Omg, this is so helpful. I'm glad that you guys emphasize maximizing the use of the early admission because for someone who's never been there, we might not think about the crowds. I really liked the tip about identifying which wands are the interactive wands with the gold labels so that we can quickly pick that out and get on with the day. Oh, and also the tip about pre-buying tickets.
The ticket purchase tip was excellent as well as the early access hour. Miss Wizarding World has fantastic photos on her page that she attributes to getting in early. Next time I get to go I definitely have to try and get in early if only for the photos! Also, what a kick to see vids Pre Covid!
I really want to visit this amazing place one day! If I go there, I will stay there for a week))) For children, this place is probably a fairy tale in reality!!!
I wish you made this video 2 months ago. I live in Australia so when I went we didn’t know much about theme parks, but the wizarding world but it was the best place on earth. I wish you could’ve made this video sooner though. Keep up the great work. Love your vids.😁 Keep Collecting...
I wish I could love this video. I absolutely adore the two of you! Megan is such a sweetheart! It was so nice getting to see you guys at the park! Can't wait until you guys are in town again! These are great tips! The one about the hogs head...I'm a little surprised that more people don't know about it! That's always where we get our butterbeer in Hogsmeade!
I will likely never get to visit due to living in Australia and being scared to fly. But a school project required me to study a place is travel and what I would do and white a diary of my trip. Your videos have be soo helpful
When two icons meet! Thank you for the tips! I’m addicted to in-world items straight out of the books. Thought I’d only have to contend with robes and Honeydukes, but Weasleys Wizard Wheezes is going to cripple me xD
OMG! MissWizardingWorld! She's my favorite Instagrammer and you're my favorite UA-camr! This is sweet! We're going next year for Disney's 50th but we're staying with Universal for the first time; so we'll get the early park access and I'm so excited.
I'm visiting the WWOHP at Universal Orlando in July, and these tips are gonna be so helpful for me! I'm watching the videos on repeat! Thank you for being so informative. Love your videos and Keep Collecting :)
I always have my outfits set up and pack everything thats not charging. But my friends or family are usually the ones i have to wait for. Thanks for the tips!
I'm going for my 16th birthday and your videos helped me so much to know what to get (early entry and staying on site) and just a tour of the park and tips! I am so excited to go thanks for the tips!
I've been to the wizarding world at universal twice. The first time i had access to both parks and the second time i did single parks. It is very much worth it, like she said, to be able to transition from one park to the other in one day. You get the full experience and just use your following returning days to go back and return to your favorite spots/rides.
I’m so excited to see this!! My trip to Orlando is in july and I’m going to the wizarding world of Harry Potter as well😍♥️ this video helped me a lot 🙌🏻 I seriously can’t wait till I go there in july
I actually got up at around the early park hours, but my Christmas gift was to go here to the first time I left at nine and went to olivandors first thing.
So many good tips - simple planning of what rides and meals, also the app with wait times, cheaper online tix who knew!? - super helpful - crowded meal times - good job 🐉!!
Loved filming around Harry Potter world, there are so many things you miss on your first visit. Will definitely add these to things to film next time 🙌
you guys should’ve gone to the hidden spell locations! super fun. I have a lot of tips too I’ve been there a lot! I might make a video next time I go! loved it tho! helps me not cry given quarantine
Might be a wierd question but since you are a collector you might know, I see everybody bying official replicas og horcroaxes, wands, ect, but do you know if you can by a official replica of the phiosopher’s stone?😄
Loved this video...I am really liking the idea of you meeting up with other Harry Potter UA-camrs/Instagrammers and making videos with them together. Awesome stuff. Cheers
Muggle plastic !!! I love when people use my go to time killer line! Haha “are we paying with muggle paper or plastic today?” See you next time peter!! 🤩
Ahaha what a good idea! How’s the weather down there? Probably getting pretty hot 😉 😂 I’m trying my very best to move down to Florida and get a job in Universal next year, looks like great fun!
I know I’m late but the tip about annual pass being cheaper than normal tickets is totally true! I stayed for like 11 days once (because why not) and the seasonal annual pass was 100% cheaper plus other benefits too 👍🏻
I'm going next summer with my mom as a high school graduation present. I have read all the books multiple time and watched all the movies many times and I can not wait to go.
THANK YOU FOR INSPIRING ME TO READ AND COLLECT BOOKS. I didn't really read the Harry Potter books growing up and didn't own any except for a volume of Goblet of Fire in Korean. In the last few years, I have gradually collected Harry Potter books; 6 out of 7 all US EDITION hardcovers from my local Half-Price Books store. I'm a slow reader and I'm currently reading Half-Blood Prince. I can't find the US hardcover of Sorcerer's Stone and I missed my chance at my local library's book sale. (Oh well.) I want to get a copy of Philosopher's Stone Hufflepuff house edition. I also began collecting the collector's editions of the Chronicles of Narnia series. KEEP COLLECTING!
i only recently became a harry potter fan, idk why i never became interested in it sooner, but i hope to go to harry potter world for my 16th birthday in november. i love how they play the music from the movies in the park, i think i’ll cry
I love your videos. FINALLY getting to go! T minus 30 days! I have waited 11 years for this. I wanted my son to be old enough to enjoy it. So we’re going for his 8th grade graduation. We had even had to buy new perfectly round eye glasses. 😂
I have 4 beautiful days at wizarding world coming up in November 😍 My favorite/most helpful tip was prepurchasing the swag. I turned plain white tennis shoes into Slytherin/death eater themed shoes.
Also, CHECK THE FACEBOOK PAGE. In Universal/Islands of Adventure in Orlando people often hide crafts they made. Wands, potions, ornaments, etc.. they will leave a photo on the Facebook page of where the item is "generally" hidden. I've found 3 wands, 2 necklaces, and 1 ornament
im going to add my own tip, if you are willing to spend the money and/or are only going for a day, then i think that the express passes are worth it! especially if you want to spend time in the other areas of the park! when i went a couple years ago i was obsessed with the harry potter rides and i did the hogwarts one 17 times in two days! i dont recommend just doing this but this gives you an idea of how fast you can get through the rides with a express pass
I'm saving my money for more wands when I go back. When I went in 2015, I got Hermione Granger's interactive wand, which I still have, but I was wanting to get another. I want to get a character AND non-character wand next time I go back. They're pretty expensive and my mom will probably make me pay for at least one so I'm saving my money. These tips were definitely helpful btw
Very good idea to make this kind of videos!!! it may help many people to save money and time, and also have a greater time at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter!! Greetings from Argentina, and congrats for hiting 100k subs!!
You don't have to just use muggle plastic , you can get it exchanged at the Gringott's (dyslexia, sorry if I spelt that wrong) Money Exchange; which is next to Gringott's Bank.
this might just be one of my favourite videos of yours Peter, seeing Megan live in action at the wizarding world was super fun as well! can't wait for your next amazing video:)
Early entry is the best! We would get up early, stay till 2, go back to the hotel take a nap or go swimming then get ready for nighttime at the park especially the wizard in world. I will tell you that the 23.99 quick service meal plan is the way to go!!
Not sure if this has already been said, but you can go to the bank in diagon alley and exchange muggle money for wizarding money to use in the HP sections of the parks.
Yes. I avoid mentioning this because they don't provide you with wizarding coins (which is real wizarding money). It's just a gift certificate basically.
How many days do you need to see everything without feeling rushed, but also without over spending on tickets? *For a first, and likely only, timer (though I like the annual pass tip!!)
loved the video! A Harry Potter video that I would enjoy would be “How to get the most out of The Wizarding World”. So basically just how to do everything at the Wizarding World in just one day.
I would miss all of the christmases for the rest of my life to go here. My mom and dad dont have enough money and I dont live anywhere near here so I will never be able to go here, so I watch other people go and watch them enjoy it. It makes me feel atleast a little bit excited that I can see all the stuff that's there
The early admission isn’t always for the hotel people or when you pay for it. I went to universal couple years ago not knowing they had early admission passes and they just let my family and I in during early admissions
Can’t wait going for my birthday, have a shirt that says “I solemnly Swear that it is my birthday” in hope I’ll get selected for the Olivanders Wand Experience.
Why two parks.....it seems like a way to charge more money....anyway be that as it may we are planning on going and your tips will help very much.....just wondering how much were the wands
One, I've already been doing. Planning for the day, I finally get to go. And YES, part of that is budgeting for the stuff I want, using Peter's videos. :) What better way, then advice from a fellow Slytherin.
I would absolutely love to come to this amazing place ! But sadly I’m British and can’t afford it so I can’t go so I’ll have to settle for Warner bros studio tour. Oh wait! Just realised that I’m broke and can’t afford that. Guess my dreams are crushed! Being a British 14 year old that LOVES Harry Potter is hard 😭😭
The lines can be long in the Harry Potter areas. But, Universal has done a wonderful job making the wait in line interesting. There is so much to look at when in line for the rides.
I would definitely recommend it! When I got into the park I stood in the lines for the rides as it was still early and I didnt have to wait too long. I then made use of the Express Pass later on in the day when the lines were super long. This made the day less stressful, I was less grumpy, and I basically got to go on the rides twice with minimal waiting.
This is an odd request... So I'm a type 2 diabetic. Is there anything there that is low carb & sugar free? I'd like to visit some day and it would be cool to know if I can have any of the sweets they have. Thank you. I love your videos! 😊
Great Video! I really want to go, but Japan is so far.... (at least I have the USJ here, but it's only Hogsmeade) I hope maybe next year I'll make it. When is the best time to go? (season) Keep collecting! :)
If I remember correctly, 3 days Park2Park is now more expensive than an annual pass. I’m only going 1 day, but with 2 days I would’ve got the difference already (I thought 50-100 dollars), with the discount on merchandise, food and extra tickets.
Which tip did you find most helpful?
The Potter Collector to go early!
The early morning tip! Are there any restrictions on what type of backpack you can take into the park? ⚡✨
Definitely early park entry! Worth it for those empty pictures! I’ll have to get a hotel on site too.
"research! plan! prioritize!" tip, the universal app es great
Nope! :)
When is Universal and JK Rowling going to get serious and open a hotel themed on the dorms? That would be GREAT!
Purselmer aH
Omg I can't imagine that. i live in Indonesia and if that's thing were exists I'll probably go asap

My cousins and I do that for every theme park ... and sometimes they need 2 riders so you might end up sitting next to your companion .
Genius
Is it just me, or does the early access make it seem more like a movie set than the actual Wizarding World?
Kelsey Valeska Absolutely!!!
Margaret Beaver I don’t recall several lines of people attempting to cast the same spell in the exact same spot in any of the movies. We got our daughter an interactive wand, and I was like... “no way!” I would have said “so much for being off peak” but then they closed.
You can also get early admission by staying at a Universal Partner hotel which are mostly budget hotels that are not on Universal property.
Yes I am staying at a comfort inn and got early admission
a g how did you find out if your hotel was a part of that?
Wow this is so good to know, thanks so much!!

im going to add my own tip, if you are willing to spend the money and/or are only going for a day, then i think that the express passes are worth it! especially if you want to spend time in the other areas of the park! when i went a couple years ago i was obsessed with the harry potter rides and i did the hogwarts one 17 times in two days! i dont recommend just doing this but this gives you an idea of how fast you can get through the rides with a express pass
Thanks for the tips!!! Going there in a few weeks so I'll be sure to remember these!
I'm so sad I couldn't make it this Year because of covid 19 😭😭
Very good idea to make this kind of videos!!! it may help many people to save money and time, and also have a greater time at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter!! Greetings from Argentina, and congrats for hiting 100k subs!!
You don't have to just use muggle plastic , you can get it exchanged at the Gringott's (dyslexia, sorry if I spelt that wrong) Money Exchange; which is next to Gringott's Bank.
I love it when you cheer on the Dragon :'D
this might just be one of my favourite videos of yours Peter, seeing Megan live in action at the wizarding world was super fun as well! can't wait for your next amazing video:)
Hey thanks Kayla! Yes, it was a blast collaborating with Megan on this one.
me: hasn't been to universal orlando in years
also me: watches this
Early entry is the best! We would get up early, stay till 2, go back to the hotel take a nap or go swimming then get ready for nighttime at the park especially the wizard in world. I will tell you that the 23.99 quick service meal plan is the way to go!!
Very helpful as I plan my first visit!
I cried 😭 when I saw the cost.
What is the cost??
@@jessicaevans905 $200ish PP
Not sure if this has already been said, but you can go to the bank in diagon alley and exchange muggle money for wizarding money to use in the HP sections of the parks.
Yes. I avoid mentioning this because they don't provide you with wizarding coins (which is real wizarding money). It's just a gift certificate basically.
@@ThePotterCollector that makes sense. :-)
I think you’ll definitely need multiple days to see every little corner and detail!
Yes indeed! If you only have one day to visit, this video will be very helpful in getting the most out of that day.
You can do it in one day if that’s all you have. Ride the rides first, then do the extras.
Ainda vou conhecer esse parque e comprar muitas coisas
Watching this during quarentine.
I would miss all of the christmases for the rest of my life to go here. My mom and dad dont have enough money and I dont live anywhere near here so I will never be able to go here, so I watch other people go and watch them enjoy it. It makes me feel atleast a little bit excited that I can see all the stuff that's there
3:34 there is a guy in the back with Draco hair lol
Was this at Universal Orlando? I've been to the one in California but I don't think it has as much, like the ride on the Hogwarts Express.
Fellow Slytherinzzz for the WIN!
Omg I have that same exact out of print shirt!
Omg i want to go there sooo bad!❤️😭 have Fun!❤️ love from the Netherlands!🇳🇱🇳🇱❤️
vi va holandia
Keep saving and make it happen! :D Love back from the US!
@@ThePotterCollector love you! + thanks for the heart!!😭😄❤
it’ll be such a dream to go here :(( loved all these tips, so glad to see my two favourite people in one video!!
I'm American and don't know why they don't have a Harry potter park in England. It is just wrong to me.
Is it beneficial / necessary to have an express pass for the Wizarding world?
Do you have tips for ticket purchasing?
Is the Orlando Universal Studios different than the California one???
Great Video! I really want to go, but Japan is so far.... (at least I have the USJ here, but it's only Hogsmeade) I hope maybe next year I'll make it. When is the best time to go? (season) Keep collecting! :)
How different is Universal Hollywood? I’m West Coast so that’s where I’m hoping to go someday.
If I remember correctly, 3 days Park2Park is now more expensive than an annual pass. I’m only going 1 day, but with 2 days I would’ve got the difference already (I thought 50-100 dollars), with the discount on merchandise, food and extra tickets.
Can you make a video explaining how much money you can spend going to wizaring world orlando?
