New Nightmare is probably my second favorite behind the original. Wes Craven was just simply the man
Yes he was
This movie is a freaking masterpiece, I can't thank Wes Craven enough for giving it to us. R.I.P. Wes you created two of the most amazing horror franchises of all time. I like the idea of a sequel, wonder how they could do that
Agreed
To me, this has always been the most underrated film in the series. Julie's death was also sad AF, but so well done. Wes was a legend
I agree
Freddy is a savage in this I f'kn love it
Hands down the best Nightmare after the original. It was so awesome and scary af too. They should've skipped 5 and 6 and went straight to this one as the Final Nightmare.
Best of all the Nightmare on Elm Street films. I'm so glad this was the first one I ever saw in theaters
That must've been so cool
Today is Wes’ birthday, RIP to the legend!
Indeed
I really enjoy this one as well. I love the meta aspect of it and Freddy is so terrifying
One of my favs
Freddy is straight fire in this one
RIP Wes Craven
I really like these horror talks and how you single out each movie. This one is nostalgic for me too, I remember renting this from Blockbuster with my brother and staying up late to watch it. My friend down the street also had a T-rex doll similar to the one Dylan had.
Thanks man! That's awesome to hear. I miss blockbuster lol
I love this one. And I love Wes forever
I watched this one for the first time in a long time the other day. I enjoyed it more than ever, definitely one of the Gem Nightmare movies. I think it gets passed by far too many times, yet it has always been meta before Scream did.
Loved having Heather Lagenkamp back too
All of the movies with her are my favorites
This movie is clearly conveying through Wes Craven’s unique sense of humor, that Freddy has gotten out of hand. So much so as to writing lines for himself in the movie, adding another layer of meta to it as a wink and nod to the fans that it’s time to hang The Krueger Hat, and to move onto bigger and better things: Scream
Wes saw that by leaving the Nightmare franchise by number 2 had taken a toll on the quality. If you don’t Believe me, just look at his heavy involvement in three. As well as this film. Then go look at the first four Scream movies. Consistent all the way through, same director, same core cast. What other horror franchise can you name that did it that way? I can’t.
Happy Birthday Wes, may you continue to R.I.P. ❤️☝🏻☀️💯
Well said!
Yooooo lets go 🙌🏾🙌🏾
🍿🍿
🔥🔥🔥
💪💪
I contributed to the Dylan's New Nightmare campaign
Ayyyye so did I haha
I never could get half way through lol
I love it!
How? This movie is so good
@@marshallkapper5623 lol idk. I like the fact they brought Nancy back. I think its before its time really. I just couldn't get into it.
