How to remove and rotate Vito Mercedes Benz Van Seats

- Easy walk-through guide on how to remove and rotate rear seats on Mercedes Benz Vito. Video shows 2019 model. Sorry on the sound at the end. Although video shows the single seat with a double, if you have one full bench seat then exactly same principle. Remove from the rear, hinge up and remove the legs at the front. DO be wary, they are heavy seats so bend knees where lifting or even better get help (especially for bench seat). RECOMMEND keeping feet well clear and (even better) steal toe cap shoes. All the things I didn't do!!!

I'm extremely grateful for this content, was about to order 3 rails for my Sprinter van conversion, however thanks to you, realise a 4th rail will allow me to spin all seats 180 degrees.

Yeah, I have to say publicly. DO NOT do that. Wear steel toe caps!! As I say to my kids, I should be doing better in setting a good example (usually as I spin them and me too fast on a playground roundabout that could lead me to needing medical treatment)

How can i rotate the middle seats when i have 3 rails only? I am stuck, can you help? Because rotating the two maybe it's ok but the 3rd which is sole how to rotate? Does anyone knows?

Quick question, when you fold the seats (not remove) and they then flip upright (so fold top half of seat down then fold the whole thing another 90 degrees) are they supposed to then lock in place? Weird question but have a customer saying they’re not locking but I can’t figure out if they’re supposed to

You need to look as depends on the spec. For example, Citreon Spacetourer (which I had for a while) does have the ability to rotate seats but only at the highest spec level (which I think is called exec). In most cases, basic spec is you cannot rotate the seats. Please do like and subscribe as really helps me.

Can the seats move half a space back? ie bridge the forward and rear rails? Looks like they should
Sadly not. Mine have only go one location to clip into. Even half a place forward or back means it doesnt line up...however, other models may have less of a fixed arrangement where you can slide them back or forward. Hope helps. Please do like the video and subscribe as really helps me.
@@ratemygadgets Thats a shame, I think I will add a back row to my dualiner anyway for a bit more flexibility! Could I be cheeky and ask if you would mind measuring the space between the middle and back rails to help me locate the factory fitted nuts! Would be a great help!

Fair point. I haven't really got an excuse. If like me you have a van, it sadly becomes the go to vehicle for tip runs and animal convoy. I will make a resolution to clean it once a week, I'll get my Autoglym out!
The seats are very very heavy, especially the double seat, and if you have a 3rd row bench seat that weighs alone around 100 kilos, it’s definatly not a sandales job.
Agree. The footwear was definetly not steel toecapped so others, please ensure wear right shoes and watch your back by getting help if/where needed. Please do like the video and subscribe as really helps me
