I gotta admit, aside from the usual 8-bit renditions from games and going for something different, you did a fine job here. This piece is pretty peaceful for me, i like it =]

Ah good point, but Dracula's curse is powerful enough to cause a blight on all of Wallachia, could it not also cause a blanket status boost to any evil creatures in the cursed area?
