Oh my goodness, Alyssa and Dallin are truly a match made in Heaven! It's crazy to know that one year ago we were watching a dating series and now we're here watching them getting married! Can someone explain to me how American weddings work ???? I assumed you didn’t see the bride till you get to the end of the aisle??? Do they not have a reception (party) afterwards ? Just curious ☺️☺️
it depends! the typical american wedding you don’t see the bride before she is ready! some people choose to do a “first look” and others choose to wait for the isle walk! however alyssa and dallin are mormon so they had a slightly different ceremony bc of their beliefs! they had a “temple wedding” which is unique to the mormon religion and they had a ring ceremony after :)) the temple wedding is bc they believe that’s what will allow them to be together in heaven :) hope this helped ☺️

Was your venue for the reception only or did you have another ceremony there as well as at the temple? (sorry, I'm not a member of LDS so I'm kind of confused)
They had a "ring ceremony" as well at the venue! So basically a traditional wedding ceremony, they were just technically already married since they were previously sealed at the temple.
Ya you dont really do a wedding ceremony in the temple. You just get sealed there and then you can either have another ceremony before or after the sealing.
