Hi there, so after I have made my URL with UTM parameters, there's no need to put these parameters in GA? I got confused with why exactly you're making events, is that for e-commerce only? I would just like to track my visitors from which source they came from and make 3 seperate URL with UTM parameters, this would work without having to add these UTM parameters anywhere? So for instance when I would to check if they came from fb posts, I would simply put that URL in searchbar within GA4 to see how many came from this link.

Hello! Thank you for the tutorial! I'm still a beginner at GA and I am still struggling to figure out how to track UTMS. For example, how to track how many people click on the first link of my email to direct them to the sign up page of my website. I understand how to create a UTM link and how I need to create an event but I'm not sure what recommended event to use and adding the google tag. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
You shouldnt need to set up events etc. You just need to have UTMs on that link in your email and GA4 will automatically pull it in to GA ASLONG as you are using "", "", "" and ""
Hi Dan! I setup UTM for our website, basically I create utm link correctly. However, GA4 doesn't recognize it, it only says 'direct' and the medium is 'none' we manually connect GTM through clickfunnels. Could you help me what's missing? We record tag events in clickfunnels. Do I need to do the steps here in the video? Badly need help thank you!
Could someone assist me in determining how to locate the GClids of leads in GA4? Leads have been successfully transferred from my GoHighlevel account to GA4, but I'm uncertain if the GCLIDs are also being transferred. I attempted using "Custom Dimensions and Definitions," but it consistently shows as not set. Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Whats the UTM string you are using?
got the same issue, build UTM from google campaign builder, does not show source, medium from testing.
