That place should absolutely have been preserved! It looks like it needs minimal restoration. What a sad end to a lot of human ingenuity. Thanks Bob for bringing us to a new (old) beautiful place.
Very nice to see you explore this place! I have a pretty cool story from here. I am 15 and i decided to go here with some friends. We tried to get in and succeeded, but we wer caught by a guard who threatened to call the police. But we explained to him that we were just exploring, and the unexpected happened: he gave us a tour of the whole building and let us take anything we want! We took some very old books and a couple of gas masks. Very nice guy! Good luck on your adventures!
The majority of Romanian Institutes are buldings like this, because the majority of them were founded and built in monarchy era (before 1930). Look on the internet for University of Iasi, Bucharest Economic Studies Univ, University Of Bucharest, Cec Palace and there are more and more like.
Great video! That car was an Oltcit, a Rumanian car that was designed by Citroën. It was also sold in Western Europe as Citroën Axel,in some countries like the Netherlands.
So sad that some of the material was not collected by historians for archival purposes or for museums. Much of the cabinetry is beautiful and could have found a good home. Great video, thank you.
Unfortunately this is the case for many, and i mean MANY old palaces and mansions in romania. the micul Trianon in Floresti is just now having people trying to save it, which i think is fair too late now as its just ruins. along with the bathouses of herculane, the grand hotel there. just a lot of beautiful places left to rot. at least theyre restoring the constanta casino
I very much appreciate this, since my own ppl don't seem to give a shit.. Romania has so much history worth documenting, yet no one seems to give a fuck. Cheers, bud!
Thanks for checking out ! Romania has indeed a lot of amazing places. Unfortunately many have been forgotten. A few like the Casino in Constanta will finally be saved. Did you also check the abandoned Orthodox church in the mountains of Romania? That was an amazing place too!
Wat een mooie hal! Ik mag zeker hopen dat het gebouw behouden blijft. Ook heel gaaf om nog zo veel originele spullen te zien. Jammer dat er geen shots van de buitenkant zijn. Top video weer 👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Well done guys 👍, really a beautiful site. I was there, but in daytime, and there was a man on the empty space in front of the buildings who told us to go away ; and from the back we could not see an easy way in, and there was some straw dogs barking to us....
I just don't get it. Why not use this abandon buildings for somethig else. People just let them get destroy for no reason. What a huge wasted of beautiful structures around the world.
Just HD, 1920x1080 I need 120fps a second. When I do this in 4K I need to invest so much money in new film gear, harddisks, SD cards, The best computer on the planet and so much more edit/render/upload time🫣 and I earn almost nothing with UA-cam🤷♂️
Outstanding as usual! I am just a baby with just 28 countries visited, may I ask a couple questions? What happens when you fill up your passport? I have never seen one with a gazillion stamps in it. Do you have a favorite spot in the world? I had lots of fun in Palma and Rhodes Greece. The nicest folks seem to hang out in Israel and the Philippines.
When your passport is full, you need to get a new one. Or only travel to countries where they don't stamp it. But within Europe, most citizens don't need a passport at all (and wouldn't receive any stamps). We can travel to most countries with only an ID card.
Seized for corruption? I'm not sure that translates perfectly. How can a building be corrupt? Do you mean it was condemned? Like it was structurally unsound?
E a legenda em português? Sou muito fã dos vídeos e sigo o canal, mas sou brasileiro e não consigo entender muito bem o que vocês falam sem legenda no meu idioma nativo. Obrigado e muito sucesso pra vocês!! 👊🇧🇷
In the absence of minimal information ( where the building is located, what was its previous destination, how it looks from the outside ), this video becomes very, very boring.
In some cases I keep it secret. Buildings get totally destroyed if we give out too much information. I got other interesting videos in which I tell way more.
Sorry for my english...I You can find a lot of some's buildings, hysto rical, trues jewelries architectural, but abandonees in Romania! A lot of ex owners they ask themes in justice, they can t legal demoliteds and they wait becomes in ruin! To sold the terrain!! For some easy money!!
They should get rid of the "shorts" feature too. Any videos less than a minute NEVER trigger alerts. My guess is they make no money for the overlords so they don't bother to push them out.
@@AndreVandal when I'm going through and and get a notification and click ot who wants to then want an hour to watch it 🤔 just post so when we click we get the video
No! We need pictures to show us from before history of the building and details of the crimes and an idea of what students were up to. If leave this way is like are a crime more then a vigilante this further information of how it is because if we're crimed on we need how the crimes are you know you know hmmm.
So sad to see a library in such a state, and to imagine how peaceful, organised and studious a place it must once have been.
I don't think it was a library. It was a state run institute studying food production etc.

Nice vid! Truly amazes me that it’s not listed as an historical monument, absolutely amazing piece of architecture.
hard to believe this is a research facility, such amazing architecture

Great video I hope somebody will renovate this place one day!
Pro tip…
Use red lenses or red light diods in your flashlights.
That light is less visible from afar and it keeps your nightvision intact.
@@martkbanjoboy8853 It ruins your nightvision. And I wonder then why do police and emergency services use blue lights?
Great job, very interesting building.

It was damaged by the earthquake in 1977 and was deemed structurally unsafe. But i think that if they want they could restore it..
A great explore too bad it was a bit short :-)
You guys are in Romania?
Back in The Netherlands atm. But we'll be back one day !
i think you guys must buy a night vision for the mission succses right ?
