As stated in the video, there are no differences in engines. The variants are all the same airframe and engine as the CRJ it was derived from. Its just a different cabin with less seats...
Ok so this video is talking about the difference (or lack there of) between the 440-200, 550-700 and 705-900. It is meant to be 3 separate comparisons of the variant to the base model (440 being the variant and 200 being the base model) and not a video comparing the base models (or variants) to each other such as the 200 to the 700. There are many many many differences between the models like that. So I guess if thats what you are trying to ask, yes the 3 base models covered in the video have different engines when compared to each other. Although the 3 use the same base engine design, the crj200/440 uses the CF34-3B. The Crj700/550 uses the CF34-8C1 and the CRJ900/705 use the CF34-8C5 which is only slightly different than the 8C1 on the 700
As a CRJ pilot, I even learned some new stuff about the aircraft. Keep up the good content, Mike!
Thanks. Always happy to use my knowledge and experience to educate.
Nice video👍👍
So the CRJ550 is the only one of these three that exists today?
I'm not sure if all the 705s have been converted to 900s or if there are still a few flying as 705s
What are the engine difference? They look different

@@MTAviationPhotoFilm Yeah, I did hear that they were the same but the engines appear to be different on one of the models.
