Dude the scene where Kurogiri stops them from killing each other by redirecting all of their hands through portals is so cool. It scratches a badass itch for me, can't get over that.
Few things to point out. Uraraka’s whole romance arc with Deku. Believe it or not she isn’t lying to herself. She flat out doesn’t recognize that she has a crush on him. And considering they’re in high school (working at college levels but still) it’s actually totally realistic for it to not even register to her as a possibility. So it’s not going to be an arc of changing her mind about him, but one where she recognizes and embraces her feelings instead. I wish more anime do that. I just consider that more realistic.
Also people get kinda confused on Shigaraki’s epiphany. You didn’t, but most others I see do. Shigaraki was just destruction and chaos. His master wanted a goal closer tied to anarchy in season 1 because it was something Shigaraki can sell even through his sadism. But an entitled personality like him needs to come to the conclusion on his own terms. He sees what AFO and Kurogiri have been trying to push him toward. And lucky for him, the pin holding society together is All-Might.
You said he’s not like a god…but honestly he really is. At least from public opinion. To them, he shows up in an instant, never fails to save anyone while on sight, and doesn’t need to slow down at all. But we know that is not the case. But everyone else is blissfully unaware of that reality. And I love how Tsukauchi just flat out says he wasn’t cut out for teaching. Almost like the one teacher who likely doesn’t have a teaching license isn’t good at teaching. All-Might did let Deku go last episode, but the way he let them go actually can have REALLY bad effects. Deku’s self worth continues to deteriorate.
Season 3 is my favorite. You’re going to love it.
I just wish they've done more with Uraraka outside of the whole romance subplot and see how their crush is resolved in the middle of the series.
I've just started season 5 of the anime and volume 2 of the manga.
@@Deathclaw-lh5tl her romance plot might be prominent, but she is actually one of the best fighters too. (I put her at #5 in season 5 for combat) She might always be in the background, but the more I pay attention to her, the more I notice how much she really does. She’s like the emotional core of the class. Always comforting others, watching their backs, so on.
Hyper Sensitive people are just fun to write. But you are correct she does need more active attention less passive.
Season 3 is my favorite season, it is gonna be lit!
OFC YOU KNOW THAT VOICEEE. The voice actor of Dabi (the villain with half burned face) is actually the same as (Demon Slayer's) zenitsu's voice actor. CAN YOU IMAGINE??? such a low voice for dabi and a high pitched screaming voice for zenitsu!! THE RANGE OF THIS VOICE ACTOR IS INSANEEE. AMAZINGGGG.
This finale is amazing, I can't wait for season 3 🤩😱

All jokes aside, this episode is def one of my faves. It really sets up the 3rd season in an amazing way, just like any finale to a season should. Can't wait to see your reactions to season 3!
Dabi's japanese voice actor is the same as Conny's japanese voice actor from Attack On Titan. Same with Todoroki's japanese VA being the same as Eren.
