Today's JAM is YAMAHA SEQTRAK + Arturia MINILAB 3.
I have been touching SEQTRAK for about 2 days and started to think that this is a product like MC101 with a different shape.
To get the most out of it as a multi-instrumentalist, I think it is better to use a MIDI keyboard.
In this case, I assigned DrumTrack to MINILAB's PAD and assembled it using 3 Synths (Piano, Strings, Bass) and Sampler on the keyboard.
I think it is a good pair with MINILAB3.

今日のJAMはYAMAHA SEQTRAK + MINILAB 3です。
SEQTRAKを2日間ほど触っていて、これは形の違うMC101のような製品だと思うようになりました。
マルチ音源としての魅力を引き出すには、MIDIキーボードを利用するのがよいと思います。
今回はMINILABのPADにDrumTrackを割り当てて、鍵盤で3つのSynth（ピアノ、ストリングス、ベース）とSamplerを使用して組み立ててみました。
MINILAB3とは良いペアだと思います。

great jam, I'm gonna buy this. I loved the "non house" demo. after all the demo's I've seen I think this is a very innovative Maschine with very few limitations for quick beat and song sketching. New sub for sure

I have the same equipment and I don't know how to drive the Seqtrack with the Minilab. Do you assign the instruments with Arturia's midi controler center ? Could you explain the process or tell me where I can find this method ? Thanks in advance for your help

Did you customize the default midi mappings on your keyboard in any way or is this the way it's set up automatically? seems really fun and convenient
At the moment, it is not automatically mapped. I mapped it myself. But it is not difficult.
Nice work! I agree. MIDI keyboard is a smart way to go. What are the 3 synths you mention in the description? Are they presets from the synths in the Seqtrak?
Yes, all three are factory preset sounds. synth1 was selected for classical piano, 2 for strings, and DX for bass, I believe.

Hi! How has conected controller midi with Seqtrak? I got native mk32 with only one usb out.. can you Help me? Thanks
Minilab3 has a 5-pin midi.
I think the M32 can be connected via USB-BtoC or usb host hardware, but I don't think you can do anything in the end as you cannot change channels etc. Read the manual.

I also got both devices and wondering how did you connected them? I mean what connections and cables should I buy and use? Because i always used arturia via usb to laptop.
Just connect it to the Seqtrak with the USB-C that comes with it.
Or 5pin midi👐.

Have youu figured it out? I have an akai but I cant get it to work with it it only makes drum sounds

mc101 was no fun to sequence this looks like it could be more intuitive with the pattern switching and master fx. but the mc101 had so many good sounds

I preordered one, but now I’m thinking that my mpc live 2 can do everything I need. This thing isn’t impressing me.
The MPC Live 2 cost over 300% than this Yammy ($1299 vs $399 right now here in the US). So yes, I would "think" it should be better. But hey sometime's people buy cheap stuff expecting it to out perform something way more expensive..... never get's old. 😁
I have the Seqtrak. It's important to warn potential buyers that the build quality of the SEQTRAK is awful, terrible and disgusting.
I have one and disagree. It’s ok.
I’d give someone the side eye who says the build quality of anything is “disgusting” without being specific about what the problem actually is.
Comment of very low quality, without argument and without interest. I have one and I say that the SeqTrak is great!
I bought the seqtrak and unfortunately i will send it back just because of the poor build quality. Even if the capabilities are very good for this price point and meet my expectations , i personally don’t enjoy to work with it because of it very cheap feel. Its still 400 and you can expect much better.
@@dualspherei see opinions like this from time to time and im really curious why u think it seems like built cheap? i hadnt seen it live so id like to know about what is lacking
