Cheat days are necessary for all calorie restrictive diets. It's shown that extended calorie starvation will trigger the body to store more fat and glycogen thus making it harder and harder to actually "lose" weight and this body adaptation can become permanent. As in once your body decided to store more energy because of starvation, it will do so even if there an abundance of calories available from daily food intake. Meaning, you'll gain more weight even if you eat lesser than before dieting. Cheat days literally cheats your body to think that you have plenty of calories so that the body does not need to adapt itself for calorie starvation.
Yeah, that's also what I've heard. I usually cheat on Saturdays. I'm not super uptight about diets but I try to only eat fresh meat, eggs, cheese and veggies during the week days. That is a super impressive amount of food though. I work out regularly and I think I'd feel like total crap (physically, from being so full) the whole day if I ate that much food. I usually average 2k Calories a day I think. I've also been told that I eat slow which makes my brain catch up with my stomach before I can eat as much as other people do
Can confirm it works. I do the one meal a day thing but also restrict my sugar (not totally cut off mind you) and have 1 cheat day every week where I just pig out and eat like a sumo wrestler. Currently at 16% bodyfat percentage down from 21% when I started last year November and lost 20kgs in the process. I feel great!

Botan can out-do even my eating, and I can rack up over 3000kcal easily 😅 But the funny thing is, you can still lose weight doing so, if you fast for 18 hours or so after, and don't eat late at night. Protein and Fibre both also reduce carb / sugar absorption so you don't put much of it on. 👍
God damn I guess it takes a lot of calories to be an Apex Predator. By the way I probably weigh 100 more than Botan. And if I ate that much in 1 day, I will probably just die. That is an insane amount of calories.
