- Calling all kids, big kids and adults from Camden and far and wide... we would like to invite you to watch a special recording of our free retelling of the much-loved story...
"To pay Mrs Twit back for the worms in his spaghetti, Mr Twit thought up a really clever, nasty trick . . ."
Mr Twit is a foul and smelly man who always has bits of cornflake and sardine in his beard. Mrs Twit is scheming and sly and always thinking of the next horrible trick to play on her husband. The Twits are so ghastly and evil that they even stop their poor nephew James from having any friends and keep the Muggle-Wumps and Roly Poly Bird captive. But not for much longer! James and his new friends are planning to trick the terrible Twits so that they can escape and put a stop to the frightful pair once and for all!
Following on from our successful performance of The Reluctant Dragon last year and our performances of Fantastic Mr Fox throughout the Camden parks, The Black Dog Theatre Creation are back with more fun with this special retelling of The Twits by the amazing Roald Dahl. Using puppets, poetry and even the odd rap, this is sure to be a really fun performance.
Recorded at the St Pancras Library on a rather wet and rainy day in London.
