    Here are a few things to try.
    Amazon has metal business card blanks.
    Melt powder coat paint into wood engraving.
    UV photo resist on PCBs.
    Anodized aluminum faceplates for electronic projects.
    Thanks from Colorado.

      Why melt powder coat paint when you can poor ordinnary paint into engraved grooves?
      Powdercoat paint is not for this application as a lot of other UA-camrs already tested

    Quite interesting machine.
    I wonder if it is possible to produce simple PCB prototypes out of copper plates using this machine!!

    Just curious: Anyone know what would happen if you painted the _inside_ of a glass or jar? Would it etch at all and, if so, where? Or would the laser just reflect off the outside of the glass and never reach the paint?

    The signal is voltage drope for small period of time, many inputs with different voltage drope , so i want to identify the type of drope with the same graph

      it's like $500 with the coupon code but for that much you could but a K40 CO2 laser
      and probably one of those Chinese ones but from a US seller who tunes them first
      I think they are like about $400 from China, but there is a a US baed seller,(forgot the name now) that resells them for bit more, but they inspect them and get them tuned up a bit to make it easier on the user , I wonder if diode lasers will ever get close to 40 watt CO2
      I think with CO2 you will get less charring no matter how good diode gets

    This machine is incredibly dangerous without an enclosure or shielding. Even with safety glasses, they protect you but not anyone else in the vicinity.
    However, judging by the like to dislike ratio yet no one is addressing this in the comments, I'm assuming you delete every one that has pointed this out. So this is really just me sending you a DM.

    • @MikesTropicalTech

      Yes, but results are not guaranteed! :^)

    • @darkwinter6028
      @darkwinter6028 2 роки тому +2

      The result would be more of a branding operation, and not a tattoo per se. It would result in 3rd degree burns, which would eventually scar, and it would be VERY painful during the process. Also, maintaining focus would be difficult as the recipient (victim?) would be breathing during the process… and if they moved, the laser would keep going in the wrong location.

    so they changed to mm per minutes instead of per second just to mask how slow it is compared to CO2 lasers :)
    it looks profesionall but I would rather buy 100W CO2 from china for 2000€ instead of this toy which is aimed for ordinarry consumers

  • @Dust599

    you shouldn't use laser at 100% power, it seriously shortens the life of the laser

    • @lio1234234
      @lio1234234 2 роки тому +1

      Unless of course it's 100% power isn't the actual power limit of a laser. I'd presume with a nice machine like this that they'd factor that in, at least you'd hope so
