We hope you enjoy this video exploring the lovely town of Reading. We’ve tried to capture the shopping, the vibrancy and some of the history (Abbey ruins). Something for everyone! If you enjoy our content please consider subscribing. It’s a great way to support the channel. Enjoy the video! ❤
It’s pretty amazing. The whole site is huge and it’s just behind the high street, but is tucked away so if you didn’t know it was there you would miss it!
Woohoo! That’s great to hear. I always hoped that someone would benefit from being able to find out about somewhere before they go. It’s good to know the lay of the land sometimes. Especially if your trip is short. Have fun in Reading!
I'll be coming to UK, reading specifically very soon. Glad I found this video. Lovely places . Got to see through your lenses first. When I'm there, I'll revisit this comment.
I think if you're a Londoner and feel suffocated, the best place to go imo is Heathrow airport, specifically the surrounding area as there is a lot of space and you can actually see the sky in the distance.
Drunk and in spirit form the handful of times I visited here in the past 1-2 years; is there any other way to experience a new place? Just walking: out to the ends where there is green spaces and then back to the centre.
AT 3 MONTHS OLD I WAS FOUND ON BEDFORD ROAD I LIVED IN READING TILL I WAS 19 AND HAVE NOT BEEN BACK IT ALL LOOKS SO DIFFRENT BUT NICE O YES I AM NOW 85
@@walkingworld6441 YOU THINK THAT IS CRAZY WELL I WAS FOUND ON BEDFORD RD AND I WAS THE FIRST NONE WHITE PERSON EVER SEEN AT THAT TIME IN 1939 THEAR WAS NO PEOPL OF COLOR IN READING I BECAME READING GREAT MYSTERY
Nice video and gives a good atmosphere of the town but I find it a shame that all walking tours only seem to concentrate on the main shopping areas and streets. What about walking along Oxford road, Wokingham road, Tilehurst road, walk Coley park area, Caversham, Caversham heights, Emmer green, Woodley. Walk along the Thames and Kennet and Avon canal. There's so much more than just the town centre!

There's something for everyone to see and experience on your channel. That is an incredible feat!
Thank you so much! We are trying to share all parts of the UK eventually. It’s so much fun. 👍
Thanks for these videos! I was born and raised in Reading…living stateside now! The nostalgia is overwhelming!❤
You are so welcome! I’m glad the video bought back some memories.
Sir, I dare to say, as someone who wasn't born there, you were lucky. What a beautiful place to spend your childhood.
I can’t believe I lived in Reading and never visited the Abbey! Great video. 😊

Great point 👍
Reading is in Berkshire, not Kent.
I don’t understand? Where does it say Kent?

Early morning, so not a true picture of the population, It's nothing like as nice as this shows !
😱 I don’t know. I lived there for 3 years and quite liked it. I think this was the afternoon too.
I considered just visiting Reading but I'm glad i don't have to anymore. I don't feel like I'd enjoy that town
