  • Shingo La (also known as Shinku La) is a mountain pass in India, on the state boundary between Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. It connects the Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh with the Zanskar region of Ladakh.
Gonbo Rangjon is a stand-alone lofty rocky precipice located south of Kargyak village in the Lungnak valley, Zanskar, in the Union Territory of Ladakh in India. It is considered to be holy and referred to as God's Mountain by the local inhabitants who practice Tibetan Buddhism.
This is a video of our journey from Jispa to Shinku La Pass and the Gonbo Rangjon Peak. In total, it took us about 3 hours to cross Shinku La Pass and reach Gonbo Rangjon. I hope you enjoy the video.

While preparing for my Kolkata to Ladakh bike ride with "save water campaign " in 2022 , I read each of your blog posts , which helped me a lot to complete my ride successfully. I became a fan of you since those R&D days of my Ladakh ride. Found yourself here in youtube just today , and it's a pleasure to watch your valuable videos. Subscribing and waiting to watch more . Stay blessed

Following your blog for the last few years. It was a nice help for my Kashmir and Ladakh trips. This year want to drive from Kishtwar to keylong via padder, ishtyari and Killar. And then Zanskar. Please let me know the best time to drive from Kishtwar to keylong. Thanks.

I am planning to do this route in second week of August in a Maruti Ciaz. Any thoughts or suggestions ? Thank you.

If you are only going till Shinku La from Jispa, then it is doable. Otherwise I would highly advise against brining a Ciaz on this route due to low GC
