Jesse Plemons’ character turns up in the third act and says everything the audience has been thinking.
I smiled so hard at his entrance. Amazing performance!
Jesse Plemons is such an great actor.. He has really made a name for himself these past 10 years.
Friday Night Lights - Long Time ago
Todd.
Like mike lol
Lol we can keep naming his old work but the point she is making is that since Breaking Bad he’s become a household name on his own merits
A truly unforgettable character. @@Rohme.33
I feel like Jesse Plemmons took over where Philip Seymour Hoffman left off (unfortunately). But I mean that as only high praise!! He’s worthy
He's great and a personal fav. .but not on Hoffman's level. Hoffman was a GOAT level actor.
@@antoniorossiz 💯
He’d need to be the star in a lot of films and still get praised.
I see what you're saying for sure! Plemmons has a very similar vague ambiguity and emotional depth/authenticity in his performances, reminds me a ton of PSH (and not solely because they're both pasty white dudes lol)
Didn't he play his son in a PTA film?
Jesse looks fantastic. He lost a ton of weight. He's such a great actor. I hope he gets an Oscar someday as he is so worthy. He was great on Fargo.
When the Government sends the agents the movie immediately begins to feel like it’s Jesse Plemons movie and that he’s taking over everything. That’s a great credit to his acting chops.
Of all the people on Friday Night Lights, who knew Landry would be the breakout star? Jesse Plemons is incredible. He's great in everything he's in.
Leo was supposed to play Jesse’s role, but they wanted to see this tragedy from inside instead of outside, to add more compassion. So they made Ernest the main character and Leo played Ernest.
I’m glad they changed that detail because in the book Tom White is described as “tall and imposing” and Jesse even looks similar to Tom White… I was excited to see they casted Jesse for Tom. It just makes better sense.
Glad to see Todd doing so well for himself. My favorite psychopath by far.
Christian Bale in American Psycho is up there as well..
Yes indeedy
I appreciate so much the lack of background music and minimal editing. Thanks so much. Followed your channel just for this.
Yoooo! Jesse Plemons is chunky in the movie and so skinny here... Wow
Yeah, the post-filming Plemons is new. He's always looked like an undercooked & bloated Matt Damon.
Deniro was great in this film
Yikes. Maybe DeNiros' interview should've been monitored (and eventually edited out).
Jesse looks so much like Josh right here...
I respect and like both of them. I am going to watch preview of the film in 20 hours but ... this interview was a snoozer 🤭
Whoever runs these interviews is the worst
DID HE SAY IRISHMAN 2???!!
How does a $200 million production with DeNiro and DiCaprio count as an Indie movie again?
I think it is because they put up their own money rather than a studio…..I think.
@@nancydorn2524 you think right
ALRIGHT JESSE! You got the role, you’re amazing, that thing you did was really impressive, just one more thing when you get on set remember to gain a couple of pounds for that iconic look on your face now you look like a young boy comeeeoooon! See you buddy
"...shocking and well written..."
Wow jesse lost a lot of weight...
Irishman 2!!!
He meant Irishman too*
his face looks less full off screen, ive been dooped...
He has lost weight
Jeezo enough of de niro same stuff for years
Trump 2024 🫡🇺🇸
Look at him so proud being part of a movie about indeginous people's rights and supporting the genocide of others in real life 🤢
These interviews are as sleepy and lethargic as the movie was.
So true. I can save everybody three hours, the gist of the movie is "Whitey Bad."
Crazy how far Jesse has come from Friday Night Lights. And funny how both him and Kyle Chandler have both worked with Scorsese
Jesse's character was exactly what I wanted to arrive urgently and Marty being Marty, brought him to the frame at the right time.
jesse's looking great. he's the best under the radar actor of the last 10 years maybe
how long til De Niro is on the live action " UP"
Its crazy how much weight jesse plemmons lost compared to how he looked in the movie. Straight up he would not have pulled off the role being this skinny, he looks boyish almost exactly like he did in breaking bad. Love him!
De Niro sitting and thinking about Trump. 😂
😆
DeNiro is an acting hero, but an everyday zero
What a thing to say. He’s a guy doing a job. What are you?
Irishman 2 is going to be amazing. It's a zombie movie, with Hoffa coming back from the dead to get revenge on the mob.
Imagine Jesse playing the role of Ernest
Wow....Brilliant, deep work. Thanks. GG Rebimik
Jesse is more entertaining of am actor than Leo is, no joke
I always thought he is Matt Damon's brother hehe
Does Jesse Plemons have speech impediment?
I love Jesse!!!!
Ufo in the window?
Speaking of Texas Rangers as my dad, Daniel Lacerenza, would say "heres a comment from left field" I have the same discese Gina Norris, Chuck Norris wife has; Gadolinium Toxicity Discoes. I am still in San Francisco, my Disibility slows me down other wise I would have found my uncle already. Why hasn't he found me yet? I am the one who had amnesia for years after I fell off the stage when I was seven. I had no clue that was him with my mom that time in Tujunga calif, I was ten and the ambulance brought her home. Where is my Uncle Donald? I love my uncle & my family. Alice Lacerenza also if I knew when I seen Joe Wyane I would have said something I didnt figure that out until 2018. I am staying at the homeless shelter on fifth & Bryant st.
Jesse seems a bit tired lol but I'm not surprised. They've all done about 40 interviews each for this film and in numerous countries
Beautiful and Elegant watch on Jesse's wrist. Any watch nerds know what model is it ?
how are these actors doing interviews during the strike? i thought i read that was forbidden?
Jesse Plemons lost some weight and he looks so much better.
De Niro aged so badly
They were both fantastic.
Give us time to read the
His a gem
If only he would've looked like this for El Camino.
I've been watching Meth Damon since the magnets scene all them years ago. Terrific actor.
Jesse has lost a lot of weight
He had gained a lot of weight and now he has lost it again, looks like how he did in breaking bad
Weird how his real voice isn't even his acting voice
plemons seems the same in every film, jus like he is in real life......jus plain ole jesse.
Watch game night, he is very different in that one
Robert DeNiro: Gay and not Italian!
Who's more handsome, Jesse Plemons or Leonardo DiCaprio?
Clearly DeNiro doesn’t give two shits about the character or the part. ( to say I don’t know, I don’t know) He just says YES to the money & Scorsese. How LAZY. At least Plemons did some homework. Look at Daniel Day Lewis & There Will Be Blood & PTA - now that’s a film where you saw an actor commit to the role & do the homework on his character.
If only more of us said “I don’t know”, it shows true humility
The issue is that the the motivations of the real life person who he was playing was unclear.
I know but many people are that way, why do they do what they do? Let the audience decide.
Don't you think this movie is a lot more restrained in performances? I'm kind of tired of actors overdosing on acting pills like Jared Leto trying to chew everything in the scenery and prove commitment to their craft.
He was being honest and straight up. He thinks hale did love the Osage but he also felt entitled and justified everything he did and people don’t even know their own motivation sometimes so how is he supposed to know. He didn’t meet the damn guy
I hated Jesse in Breaking Bad .but this was good
