This song made me cry. It reminded me of my little brother, he was born with cerebral palsy and passed away 4 years ago but this was one of his favorite songs. Lots of love and respect for you guys for covering this song.

I miss this era of music so MUCH. You all captured the emotion of this song really well unlike some other bands that do covers
I love how you can interpret songs however you want, but I also love Lacey's meaning and inspiration for this song which is back when she had her, what she describes, as her first encounter with God and the fact it completely saved her life from a planned suicide she was going to go through with. the parts where she sings in the song 'I'm alive! I'm still alive!' are exactly that. also the begining line "My hands are searching for you,my arms are outstretched towards you, I feel you on my fingertips, my tongue dances behind my lips for you' is in reference to her worshipping and her singing. if you've seen the music video or ANY video or ANY live, Lacey's doing exactly that. I already loved this song, but after I heard her talk about her meaning when she wrote the song, it's all the more beautiful to me. I really enjoyed your guys' cover of this song. 💜😁

I remember I mad my 2 teenage sons go see a concert at a small venue in Grant's pass or Medford Oregon, it was flylef and chevelle, my son and his friend went to go get a drink and ended up in the back of the building talking to this real tiny girl and her friends, they go in talking about how crowded it is in there and how tiny she was that they hoped she didn't get crushed,lmbo,they freaked when she came on stage. They were thanking me forever for making them to get out and enjoy their youth and freedom.
