Your investigation with Nahida within the depths of Sumeru City's foundry took you to a secluded domain where lies the very center of the God Creation Plan. Scaramouche or formerly known as "Kunikuzushi" now calls himself "The Balladeer" or Shouki no Kami after just recently infusing the power of the electro gnosis within his mechanical body (by Dottore's and the Akademiya's Sages' grand design). With Nahida's help of Time Loop Powers, Traveler attempts to defeat The Balladeer with every bit of power he has, but this epic boss fight proves to be too challenging. This English cutscene recorded in full length and in HD quality is part of the Sumeru Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V officially titled "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises" with a subpart titled "Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies".

Nahida granting the traveler the "First Sage of Buer" title was awesome. He became her champion in this fight, with all of Sumeru's wisdom to defeat the false god. even though the traveler is not her first follower, he indeed is her First Sage--the one who leads all other Buer followers.
I think its more of a parallel to the very First Sage story, were OG dendro archon gave all the experience of his journey in a form of a dream before he was given the title of Sage
I wonder how many titles the Traveller will get by the end of the journey.

I do think it’s technically accurate. I think it’s safe to assume that Rhukka (even though they are technically the same Archon) had different Goetic names. And all the actual Sages seem to favour Rhukka over Kussa so the Traveller would have been able to be the first official sage of Buer.

Does Nahida even know how powerful she is? She doesn't even have much followers and yet she was able to trap Scara in an illusion for 168 times.

Well, those followers she had were pretty devoted to her. I guess that’s why she thanks Dunyarzad in the end: even if she didn’t do much herself, she believed in Kusanali and helped others believe in her, too.
Archons are strong regardless, we saw this in Zhongli story quest about the God of Salt. But again she didn't trap him in anything she just did the same exact thing the sages did with the akasha terminals, so that doesn't make her OP persay in this scenario 🤣

people forget that the only reason that Ruhkadevatta (past archon) was not known as a fighter was because she wasn't given a chance to fight at all. She was tasked to protect Irminsul and the only thing she fought against was the forbidden knowledge, a foe that only she can get rid off because of her powerful mind and powers retaining vitality. Buer (Nahida) although not having the same powers but having the same or greater potential meant that if she were actually to fight (prime Ruhka power level) she could definitely be one of the most powerful considering she's basically the only archon with admin privileges on Teyvat

Powerful but not the most, that's for sure. Prime Zhongli is still the strongest from what we know of, and I'd say post character quest Ei is the strongest current archon, considering she still has the undying faith of all her people now.
As what ei's voicelines suggest, she could literally destroy someone's mind if she wishes, but she's too kind.
She could lead the human race to s*icide by spreading forbidden information, i assume. They might be too much for the human mind to comprehend, which would lead to them ending their own life.
(This isn’t confirmed, just something i think would be possible.)

The way Nahida revealed to scara that what was happening was an illusion is so cool. It makes me want to have an arc where actual archons fight one another.
A fight between Raiden and Murata would probably be the most epic thing possible
Something tells me the Heavenly Principle would step in if we got a scenario where two Archons started to duke it out in earnest. The Order of the Seven was (presumably) founded to put a stop to the horrors of the Archon War after all. And assuming the Archons are extensions of Celestia's rule over Teyvat, having them fight each other would be rather counterproductive.

Going by the available materials he inherited Decarabian's power, terraformed Mondstadt to become more hospitable for humans, and then left its people to their own devices out of fear his power could turn him into as much of a tyrant as his predecessor. And a god who does not enforce worship seems to weaken rather quickly in Teyvat.

Sumeru archon war was just a very long debate.
Rukkadevata didnt participate on Khaenriah catalysm and stayed in Sumeru because of Irminsul and thus resulting to creating Nahida. However the Archon War Rukkadevata did participate it thats why she become the one of the remaining sevens

Nahida most be my favorites archon. She's so compassionate, clever and this entire cutscene made me so surprised and so excited.
The best part is how so many people underestimated her, and yet despite being the weakest Archon in terms of raw power manages to outplay everyone. Easily the coolest Archon so far imo
Same, Venti's a bro and Zhongli is wicked cultured (don't have Ei and haven't gotten to Inazuma yet), but Nahida is definitely the chaddest Archon that's shown up thus far.

The reason I love this scene so much is because it does an amazing job of showing the unification of the people of Sumeru under the archon. I just imagine a regular scholar chilling and out of nowhere, getting a blast of info with his own archon asking him how to defeat this guy. I can only imagine the way the entire akademiya would be flocking around trying to find a way to fulfill their duty and the sense of pride they would be getting recognizing the immense effort EVERY SINGLE person in Sumeru with a terminal would be making to help. It really does show how a people divided can be unified under a cause.

in this fight against scara, there not even a plot armor in the first place, you can really see when nahida user her abilities to trap scara her dream jutsu and used it to counter scara by then. furthermore she didnt only used the traveler exp, but using the internet to get help from people to solve the problem. it's not a plot armor, its just a big brain moves done by her.
the difference is, when we were facing ei, we cant really predict what will happen at the time, we just know that the traveler will win. but in scaramouche fight, we can predict what moves that nahida will do. well, in the end, it just the immersion feel better for me in this fight cause i like the story to be more logical.

But after learning about her, and do the Anti Shogun training with Yae, we can defeat her with the final ace card being buffed by 100 people ambition that want the vision hunt to be stop too. It's just make senses. Its not a plot armor, it's just a big brain move by Yae.
@@Taro-kun84 the entire Yae Miko thing felt like a cheap trick during the 3rd Act of the Archon Quest.
It made sense for the traveler to inheret and awaken the 100 visions in the statue, he's fighting against their god.
It's the moral of Inazuma and a theme that's been played. "There are those who dare to brave the lightning's glow." Kazuha did it and awakened Tomo's vision, so when we face the essence of lightning, it makes sense to awaken the visions.
BUT the entire thing after the fight was just smack. Suddenly dissolving the vision hunt decree? Turning literally 180? I would understand if Ei did it out of honor, but her entire mind was changed and she even had a monologue about it. That part was just dumb

In the initial loop it was crazy to see Scara tank the same sword slam that plunged the Jade Chamber down on Osial way back.
It really is a shame she had to destroy the akasha afterwards. To compile everyone's wisdom in the name of the archon is such a interesting concept. It's like a brainstorming session on a wide scale but building new ideas on your own is also true wisdom
I think it was because she saw people abusing the Akasha. Academy research declined because everyone was too reliant on it to find sources for their studies, if it wasn't on the Akasha it wasn't a relevant topic to use as a graduation thesis. And then after the Sages used it to put the entire citizenry of Sumeru under a time loop when they were building Scara's false God megazord, it was past the drawn line for Nahida that her predecessor's creation was used to hurt her people so she shut it down. Now Sumeru's Academia has to go out and do active research instead of being nerds, honestly it's a blessing
Just finished this. Absolutely amazing. I am one hundred percent satisfied by this story chain. It was worth suffering through Inazuma to get here.

This really reminded me of Kurama’s fights in Yu Yu Hakusho. He often set a plan in motion with what seemed to be an inconsequential action at the start of a fight and it’s deadly fruits would reveal themselves at the climax of the fight. It wouldn’t surprise me if HoYo took inspiration from that since a lot of details about Scaramouche are references to classic anime like Evangelion.

I watched your video through thoroughly and when it came to the final seconds at the end i was enlightened at how that figet spinner spun
wanted to rewatch this just for nahida's gnosis line but was completely baffled remembering how good sumeru's overall archon quest is. in the end, it wasn't JUST the archon that helps the traveler but she called to ALL of Sumeru for their wisdom. that and appointing the traveler as the first sage of buer after her experience of being locked away by sages since her rebirth? mihoyo had me stunned, gagged, i was truly one with the forest after this. catch me filing my visa for sumeru.
