I found them because I'm already into Vtuber scene. But what they're doing is unique since they're full-fledge idol group but just using Vtuber Model. They make their own song and choreo. They also do live stream (it was fucking hilarious with the glitch because of motion tracker) and their personality shine more during the livestream. You can find clips translate to english from their livestream. They also sang live and take song request sometimes during live. I can say they're a real deal both in singing and rap department. You can easily differentiate their singing voice when you hear them live
I only found this group yesterday but my understanding that these guys are more like a Vtuber Boy group as they stream with their models with full body tracking. So with what I am saying that their are real people behind each one and act like themselves like Vtubers as well as sing and dance. The animation I think is more Vtuber style so they can stream to speak to fans. They sing and dance during streams and the glitches are so funny that you can tell there are real people behind it that makes it in my opinion relate to them more. The animation might seem its off as its the body capture but that's common and will happen. I am a new be Vtuber so I know a little but I am also still learning on how it all works. I watch almost all their videos but as they are new, their is still a lot to learn about them. They do have Live performance where you can see who is singing and when you watch their live streams, you get to know their personalities and get to know which voice is who's. They are real people its more like vr theyre behind the animated characters the ppl nehind them are real and they are the ones who sing too!! I like the idea of plave being moree like vtubers cuz then they can walk in the streets freely without being recognized and stuff, loved this video!!
I am a Korean K-pop virtual live-action idol. I write, compose, produce, and actually perform on stage. It is said that the video will be played at the actual broadcast site. There is even a stage on MBC Music Core!

I've been watching Plave in the past few days and thank you for making comment on their MV. There is another video about the stage performance of the song "Wait For You". Hope you can check that amazing video, too. Also, I guess you may recognize their voices after watching the stage performance video.
I've seen Plave mentioned but I've never actually checked them out for myself. I have a feeling I'll be streaming this song a lot, though. I agree with what you said about the animation and it being hard to connect the voice singing to a character. A guilty pleasure of mine is watching anime centered around idol groups (please don't judge me too harshly 😂) so the voice thing doesn't bother me too much, but it can still make it hard to connect to the character. The only other virtual/AI kpop group I know of is Mave. They are (as far as I know) a four member girl group. All four members are AIs. They just had their debut earlier this year with their song Pandora. I really like the song and the MV is kind of similar to this one (background wise I mean). If you're interested in more virtual groups, they might be one you want to check out.
