When I airdropped a movie file from my MacBook to my iPad it used to go into Photos by default. Now it just goes to Downloads from where it is impossible to get it into Photos, for posting on Instagram or just viewing. Getting a movie from my MacBook into Instagram used to be awkward but doable. Now it seems impossible. What’s the trick?

add airdrop to android please. im annoyed i have to get someone's contact number via whatsapp just to send photos or documents to someone who does not own an iphone
It’s still a joke for large files. If I airdrop from my MacBook to iPad, both devices screen not only have to stay on the whole time but if you even do other work on the Mac it will give up on the transfer. It’s also quite slow and speed varies from time to time. It’s come a long way but this really should have been bulletproof years ago. Transferring files a really basic function of any computer since forever.

I am using iPhone 13 & MacBook Air m1. after 17.2.1 update on iPhone I am unable to receive call on my MacBook Air whenever both devices are nearby or connected to same wifi network .. plz tell how to solve this problem

Hi. Tks for the vid. I intend to purchase iphone either 13 or 14 which I believed is iOS17. Do you know can I airdrop photos to my Mac desktop OS High Sierra v10.13.6. Am worried about its compatibility as High Sierra is quite an old version. Currently I have no problem airdropping fr my iphone x (iOS16.7.2). Also if you can advise does iphone 14 able to sync with my desktop iTunes v12.8.2.3. Tks for advise if you have.

this is honestly so useful because i never know whether bringing the phones close will AirDrop or NameDrop at any given moment
