Farmgirl reveals father's historical farm memories

My dad's antique wagon wheel from the farm I grew up on has been with me for many years. A wonderful reminder of him every time I look out in the back yard. Unfortunately, years of weathering have taken its toll. The wood is decayed and parts are falling off. I would like to take what I can with me to our new homestead but am having difficulty deciding what parts to keep and turn into something that can be treasured for many years to come. Open for your creative ideas and thoughts to help me keep his memories alive!

Sis, thanks for not tossing it. It does take us back to Dad and would intertwine you into it too! You have lots of trees. You can make spokes and a new center! Or for sure use the metal parts with some new tree parts.

If 4 or 6 of the spokes are salvageable then get a new hub made and take it from there Mrs K if anyone can you can 💪👍

Our local bank, before remodel, used to have those made into tables with glass tops on to fill out your business before getting to the window
