@@werdreowq maybe that was a bad example, but if you watch the drama you'll see that he was a really good man, taking in and raising by himself the son of the woman who abandoned him (both the child and the man) and taking in the son of the neighbor because he was a workaholic and didn't pay much attention to him because of his abusive wife. He didn't have much means to do that bc he was on his own and had a modest family restaurant, but he still chose the right thing over his economic issues

I wished that the childhood part of this drama was longer because the child actors were all brilliant, the scenes were heart wrenching but also heartwarming

This is such a blessed family. How can someone be such selfless in this world. Those two fathers raised them without anyone's support. He mother is like him, extremely responsible that she almost lose her life for other's mistake. Atleast god blessed her for giving such a good husband and three kids.

Love this drama, and this segment is one of the most lovable segments of this drama. Love how the father character is being written. Very kind father, heart and soul, and care for all his children even though only one out of the three is his biological child. And the father's relationship and bond with Ziqiu is the most heartwarming.
The part that made me the mpst mad about this series is his biological father coming and taking him away in like his last year of high school. His father kept threatening the boy to come with him or else. This cause the boy to be gone from his family for 9 years.
I don't like the ending I wish she never get married to her brother, she have to treat them as a normal roommate or classmate because they left her and her dad when they meet their biological family whether they think they are doing this for good things but they have to endure everything with them , they have to do work with them rather than leaving for good because enduring hardship with your loving people is better than leaving them whether it's for good things❤❤
The best gift to humankind is giving a normal and ordinary upbringing to kids laced with values, ethics and life lessons. The world would become a different place as a result. Their childhood mustn't be burdened with our past trauma, dreams, hopes, anxieties and frustrations.
