My son is setting up his knife area in his shop. Shared this with him. Some really great ideas. Thanks for a great video.

I’m more of an axe guy than a knife guy. I just started a channel this past year during lockdown. Glad YT recommended you. Seeing your shop alone is worth sticking around to see what else you do. Subbed. Thanks

Thanks for the tour Ben. With the grinder that you said you may have to make a lower bench to mount it on, you could get away with making a small movable platform to stand on to get yourself at the correct working height then slide it back under the bench when you don’t need it. Stay safe. Regards Andrew 🦘🦘

Very nice workshop. I am sure that you will quickly win back the time you spent re-organizing it, not to mention the pleasure it will bring you every time that you are there.

Great tour Ben, thanks! Seeing your buffers brought back memories of working in my grandfather’s jewelry shop when child labor wasn’t an issue 😉. Still have the scars from getting whipped by a chain caught in his buffing wheel...

You look so happy with yourself, very well done. Always good to take some time off to have a decent work area. Makes you feel better and will be much more effective at work. Love the door art. Top video thanks for the walk around.

Love the Grinding room! I'm admittedly envious. It brings a grinding question to mind. I recently got a froe which is perfectly flat on one side and is ground with a bevel of about 3/4" on the other side to form the cutting edge. The sharpened side is otherwise flat as well. It seems to be originally made this way and not re-ground. It is very well made and quite sharp. I've only known froes to be ground on both sides (and usually a bit convex). Is this a special kind or have a specific purpose that you know of? It doesn't seem to work very well for general splitting. I'm trying to decide whether I should re-grind it to a more common profile. Thanks for the great content, I love your channel and have learned a great deal watching!

I'd love to have that much space. I have my grinder, drill, buffer, disc sander, mill, all on a 6' bench.
