One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Underrated. Hidden gem.
I remember my first time in London (2015) I was 20 years old walking around an underground station. In the middle of the chaos and the people I saw a poster that called my attention. It was the promo for the “In Dream” album and featured a visual from this video. I was instantly moved by the beauty of it. I took a picture of it and continued my trip. When I came back home I did a little research about Editors and fell in love since then. The thing that made me love them even more was the fact that when I saw that poster in the middle of that London station I was hoping that the music that was being promoted sounded equivalent to the quality of that visual. I was shocked when I found out the sound was far beyond what I expected. Now Editors has become my favorite band, I love every. single. song. 🖤

I think it's my album of the year and probably the best Editor's record. At first I thought What is it? but after a few listenings I became addicted to it. In my humble opinion, the band, with this record, entered the hall of fame. I miss so much albums like this ...which keep growing in you. My favourite ones are Our love and All the Kings. The songs on the album are either excellent or the perfect ones. I'm waiting for you in POLAND.

I actually really dig this. I'm surprised because I loved the older stuff so much but this feels very 80s and I love that they are experimenting and changing their sound because of what they want to create and not because of what people think so much.
The visual effect from 0:43 to 0:49 is really interesting. It's one of the best in this light-and-darkness video.
Black and white video... shadows and light... sunglasses and leather jackets...
Artistically-visually, another excellent work by Mr. Rezvani ! Hats off, Sir !
And artistically-musically, although my least favourite of the 3 new singles,
another interesting tune from the Stafford combo !
But even though keyboards are a great instrument, i can't help hoping for
a return to guitar-esque sound for some next album ! Many fans are longing
for this... so why not make everyone happy, technology fans AND guitar-fans ?

Depeche Mode is my favourite since 36 years but I believe as well EDITORS will replace them very well....I've seen them live last June in I couldn't believe how good they were

God I Love this band!! Been with them from the start!! Not every album has hit the heights but without doubt part of every album has!! I am a synth man born and bred and yet 'The weight of your love' is my favourite album to date!! I love the fact that they experiment!! What would be the point of writing a rehash of 'The back room' five albums on!! Keep evolving I say and don't look back look forwards! You will lose fans and you will gain fans thats the nature of the business but the fact that you are still writing, recording and gigging to european dates 10 years on says you are right up there with the best!!

Great thing about Editors is you never know what to expect from one album to the next, this album took a while to truly appreciate but now I love it as much as their previous work
2009 there was Papilon.
I honestly didn't expect to see them again in my top songs of a year, but here we are, several years later. This is one of my favourite songs of 2019 (I know it's older)!
