CAT 268B Drive Motor Removal

- In this video, I will walk through the steps I use as a former Caterpillar Tech, to remove the drive motor on a Cat 268B skid steer. The reason for this removal is that the chain box was overfilled with hydraulic oil and leaking from the case vent. This process is the same used on many other wheeled skid steers produced by Cat, as well as other manufacturers.

My cat skidsteer after 15min of driving starts to squeal from the left side. If I steer left it stops because the wheels stop. What would your guess be the issue is?
After is sits for a few hours it’s fine again for 15 min of driving. Then noise again.
@@paulthatcher3574 I'd bet if you were to shoot the pumps and motors and control valve it'll be obvious where you're problem is. That's where I'd start, aside from pulling your hydraulic filter and looking for brass
