Never drive with Neutral Gear while down hill drive. Use 1st gear which slow down the car with engine breaking. Engine Breaking is a life saver and prevents the car by slowing it down and it protects the car from Brake failure. Mind it.

Correct... We here in Northeast India use Maruti 800 n Alto 800 to drive those kinds of easy roads..

Absolutely. In the northeast, Maruti 800 is more than enough on such roads.
I am sure I have been on much worse roads in an old Maruti 800 (pre 2000). In rainy season. I was a little kid - some far relatives were driving.
I have tata punch, its GC is a blessing for Indian roads. yesterday I drove punch on a very bad road where only high GC cars can go smoothly. A person behind me with his i10 was looking terrified while driving on the same road.
Unnecessarily making the drive look tough. This seems like a very doable road. Can easily do with an alto 800 also

Tiago, punch, tigore, altroz same engine with different wrapping and different price. Engine at launch of tiago was 3.5 lakhs as same as to maruti alto but suddenly same thing demanding high profit by rapping different body structure. Even tiago demanding high profit.

If you travel mostly in hills or planning to then get the manual. AMT or CVT heats up a lot.
