My condolences. I lost my father to cancer a few years ago and it was very hard to deal with. We were really close and if we didn't see eachother than we spoke on the phone every day. It was hard to watch him suffer. It took time to get over my dad's death but the support of my family and friends really helped. I still miss him but before it was like an open wound on my heart and now it is just a scar on my heart. That is the best way I can describe it.
@TheNotoriouSVJ by James Van Praugg, then I also read a bunch about NDE's, OBE"s like, "Many lives many masters" book, and eventually once I knew there was another side I was okay with it. Eventually I had my own OBE/NDE and knew without a shadow of a doubt there is another side and that comforts me too. Eventually with time things get better too, but it took about 5 years for me to fully "get over the hump." I hope your heart heals faster, love you, and I wish we lived closer- xoxo SVJ
I lost my grandmother (mom), and great grandmother within 24 months of each other and I was in and out of hospitals for a long time. I had a nervous break down and was on medication for a long time. However the thing that pulled me through (and I am no longer on any medication) is I went to therapy, and then I read a SHIT TON of books on the "other side" er about the other side I mean. The two break through books for me were "to the other side and back" by sylvia browne and "reaching to heaven"
