    Being a woodwind for 7 years , 21+ years ago. The low notes were always so intimidating and difficult(lowering the jaw). You using string, is it still difficult? like with pinky fingers and such? Or was there other notes more difficult and how/why?

      Range on woodwinds is difficult because you're working with the same mouthpiece, reed, and keys. On orchestra instruments playing high and low range is much easier because each string is like it's own instrument with its own range. The difficulty for violin is in the bow angle, making sure your bow is on the plain for only one string at a time. You can see this in how my right elbow changes heights throughout the song.
