I had a very rough, stressful day today so the first thing I did when I got home is watch this video and I actually felt better after watching it. You are bringing joy to this world John, as well as witnessing to others.I agree with you that this is your calling.
I look forward to early spring fishing and mushroom hunting. Fall weather is also primo fishing. Thank the lord Jesus a person can actually breath and enjoy these seasons
Hey I don't normally comment I just enjoy the videos but I am originally from Western NC you made me homesick seeing the opening of this video then seeing that creek.
Love it. I did what your doing by the creek by the house this past weekend. Bunch of bluegills and green sun fish. Caught a 14 inch bass. Also a few smaller bass. Love the “you never know what you going to catch fishing the creek feeling.”
Nothing like the fight of a 1 to 3 pound smallmouth out of the creek, they feel like a 5 pounder. I fished all year long as a kid i had 30 steps from the front door to the creek. In winter time i fished under the bridges for perch and bluegill.
Yes sir fall is prime time for sure. I don't put away the gear until there's ice on the water...then maybe time for ice line and small jigs. Lol. Large or small they're definitely not having commitment issues. Thanks for sharing brother. God bless
Yep John, You are correct in early fall fishing...had a blast yesterday evening up here in PA on a creek I love to fish, caught 20 smallies in an hour!! Keep up the great work on your videos and congrats on your second place finish in the Kayak tourney!
Something I learned recently set that swimbait up on a drop shot rig and throw it out the bait will stay suspended and it will swim because of the current it works really well in creeks and rivers use a 3-way swivel when tying it all together. love all your videos keep them up always keeps me close to fishing on days I can't go out
Got my son into watching your channel. He is only 7 and just caught his 1st fish a few weeks ago (striped bass) and he thinks your awesome. He told me " dad he is good at fishing when can he come with us?"
Hey Brother John, I have some questions for you should you decide to do a viewer Q&A vlog: Since the Hellgrammite is your go to bait, what colors have you tried so far? Any that you haven’t tried and why? Have you tried to fish it deep? If so how did you do it? (Could be a great idea for a new vlog.) Any other Nikko products you are trying out that you can share with us. Thanks for taking a minute to go over your tackle at the start. It really helps to know what your using and why for that specific outing. Thanks and God Bless you from California.
Another very enjoyable video. Please keep your vids like they are. I know youtube puts pressure to click bait and upgrade but the whole reason I watch youtube vids is to avoid all the patterning seen in other media, TV, etc. Thank you for the no nonsense and vids. your hard work is appreciated...I'm in Florida from Kentucky so I really enjoy the landscape.
Thanks to you I tried fishing back in January & February on some little creeks here in PA and found some spots where Creek Chubs were hammering pretty good! Fish anywhere, Fish everywhere, Fish any time of year!! :-)
Great to see someone on YT from nearby. We're just up in Ten Mile. Subscribed and will follow your adventures. Maybe even try some creek fishing of our own. Oh, and thank you for sharing what you're using for lures. It's tough learning a new state and what the fish like.
Great video John! I love when you fish creeks the most! Your production skills on these videos is very good! I can see improvements in production in every video. I know it's hard work, thank you for taking the time to do it right and God Bless you my friend!
Love your videos but I have never seen you throw a floating Rapala one of the deadliest lures that was ever made. You should absolutely try them on the smallies.
You were talking about Rapala Lures, and it got me to thinking about all the nice-sized Largemouth Bass that I've caught over the years on the Rapala floating minnows, 3-4 Inch length, and either Black over Gold, or Black over Silver. I love 'em!
Try a slow Twitch , then a short shallow slow retrieve of a 2" or 2 3/4" standard Rapala Then repeat I have been using that style of retrieve to catch a lot of late summer and fall bass for years Or you can also change things up by using a FAST retrieve But hold your rod high , so the Rapala dose not get to dive deep That way gets a lot of reaction bites
QUESTION WILL A FISH BITE AFTER YOU CAUGHT IT? IS THERE A TIMEBEFORE AGAIN. DO YOU KNOW IF FISH TALK TO EACH OTHER? DOES NOISE MAKE IT HARDER TO GET A FISH TO BITE?
If it is I'm doing something wrong. I live in California and found a solid creek but the fish have been diminishing the last month or so. I've been out every other day and haven't caught something since early August.
Do you use or ever use a baitcaster when you are Creek Fishing walking. I am almost 49 years old bought my first baitcaster trying to figure it out. Could you do a video how to use a baitcaster real. Thank you love your videos.
Who’s weedless Ned jig are you using with the yum swim bait? I have trouble rigging soft plastics other than zman’s on their nedlock bc of that fat keeper at the bend.
Love all your videos but this one really caught my eye as I’m moving to middle TN in a couple weeks and can’t wait to start fishing. Couldn’t help but wonder if you ever come across any game such as deer in these beautiful places... God bless!
This my friend is what I consider to be my home creek. I was wondering if you were going to walk all the way to the Interstate 24. This is the creek that people from not around here showed up with casting nets, five of them! I've been fishing this creek since 1974.

Love to fall fish in creeks and streams. No one is around and its very peaceful. Not to mention the fish you can catch. Great video! God Bless
I look forward to early spring fishing and mushroom hunting. Fall weather is also primo fishing. Thank the lord Jesus a person can actually breath and enjoy these seasons
Fall weather has 40 times more mushroom specie to forage and good fishing enjoy the season
Everybody’s hunkering down for winter that’s better for you, enjoy yourself it’s nice to see they’re still good humans out there!!! Bless you brother
I'm moving to Tennessee when I retire. God's Country. Nature's beauty at its finest. Thanks again for another phenomenal video.
Absolutely beautiful creek you’re fishing, crystal clear water and rock bed ! Fish were biting too!
I could only dream of a day of fishing like this! Thanks for taking me along!
Fall has always been my favorite time for bass fishing in a creek.
Right now is that time again, great fishing session, those smallies looked beautiful.
You got that right!
Enjoyed the trip! Thanks for taking me along!
Hey I don't normally comment I just enjoy the videos but I am originally from Western NC you made me homesick seeing the opening of this video then seeing that creek.
Your live releases are getting up there with Cavy and Briggsy. It's great to see.
Def hoping the fall fishing in Tennessee is good to me!
I really enjoyed watching catch all those creek bass John. I love watching you channel sir. Keep up the great work and God bless you John.🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊😊😊

Nice work out there brother, you were wearing them out. Managed 3 on creek portion of a river here in NJ. Smallie, Largemouth and a Fallfish.
Living in Southern California I can only dream of streams like this. Thanks for the quick escape!
Moving to middle TN from california in 8 days lol

Fall is definitely my favorite time caught a 21inch over 5lb smallie yesterday out of a small river .On a whopper plopper 90 chrome black
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year.my only problem with fall is should I grab my fishing gear or my bow on the way out the door.
Great early fall trip. I hit the creeks up until the freeze over. I enjoy the challenge of fishing in cold water.
That is some clear water. Those shady spots look so welcoming. Nice, thank you Sir. for the video.
I wish I could creek fish the fall. Our smallmouth bass dip out of the creek and head for higher waters for the winter.
Rebel Wee Craw, the creek and stream bait of champions.
Just got my first kayak set up for fishing. Hoping to get it out this weekend.

Great outing on a beautiful creek. You caught more fish this day than most of us catch in a summer!
That intro music and scenery was incredible 😍 🙌

Good video John , I can’t believe how many bass there were in that stream !
Good creek smallmouth Jon!!!!
I wish we had creeks like this where I live. Ours are just mud and gravel and mostly too shallow for a kayak.
Beautiful day. Thank you.
Excellent video as usual. You keep it real and are comfortable in your own skin. God bless and keep it up!
I'm like, "That is so pretty!" Then I realized I also live in Middle Tennessee lol.
You wearing them out, that green colored swim bait your using looks kind of like a caterpillar, seems to work good
Nice combo! Some great fish caught this session
Man I wish I could be doin this but I’m overseas and this is the best fishing u can do no fish even compares to the creek smallie
Such a beautiful location with nice results .
Wearing out the smallmouth! You should do some more trout fishing this winter!
yeah im going to try to
The water was as clear as glass. How does he manage to catch smallies and not spook them? I'm amazed,
Just found your channel and I’ve been binging! Keep it up!!!
Beautiful scenery, we need rain here in the Ozarks!
I always do best on creeks in the fall down here in south Mississippi
Need to be using a moderate action rod on any kind of treble hook bait
I learn so much from your videos! Will have to go buy some of this Yum Pulse swimbait.
Have you ever fished the Calfkiller river?
Good video sir. I’ll be in tellico this weekend catching some trout
Thanks for the video. Nice pointers.

When you're fishing in the Creek do you use fluorocarbon
or do you use Braid With
fluorocarbon Leader.
