For real... That's one of the really great things about newer generations of parents, like millennials, We are extremely opened minded to the paranormal and don't just call everything BS. If my kids were scared of something and told me about it - I would NEVER brush it off as being nothing
I totally agree, I be thinking the same thing every time I see an episode where a parent or parents don't believe their children. I'm just thinking, listen to your kids,you just said it your self their acting strange, but you don't believe them.

It's silly there are no ghosts there are no hauntings. It's just a family who have mass hysteria bc they psyche each other out. Why would that mummy haunt one guy out of all the ppl who work around it everyday all day, all the tourists there is only one person ever who was haunted by the mummy. It's RIDICULOUS.
It's just mass hysteria of a house full of crazies. Plus why out of all ppl who visited that mummy did it pick that guy to haunt? Not the the ppl who work around it all day every day, not the ppl who have to clean the case it's in. All that yelling at the end was silly. I guarantee none of this happen and if it did it was over exaggerated and the guy was looking for attention.

So very true. They should have worried about noises in their child's bedroom, jumped out of bed and investigated going-ons, unless they had sleep paralysis or that they might have been too afraid to investigate and so they pretended to be dismissive.
When I hear strange sounds at my home, I usually investigate their sources and never hesitate to do so. I first check on my elderly mother, as there are only just her and me at home. I always check on her, to make sure she is ok.
Few nights ago, I stayed up late to watch TV. About 1 am, I heard a *BIG LOUD BANG* of a front door that was only 4 or 5 metres away. I jumped up quickly from sofa to check the front door. I was wondering why my mother was up. It was too unlike her to go outside so late in the night and bang door ever so loudly. Nothing. I returned and checked my mother in her bedroom.
Only my mother was fast asleep and she had never stirred out of bed. Moreover, she never even heard the bang. I concluded it was a burglar who attempted to break into my home. He even got our key. Only he picked the wrong address, my home in Gallows Hill.
I suspected our burglar was one of men who had earlier in day done repair works around our house. Thankfully, our home was already haunted with a spirit for my guardian. He thwarts all dangers in our lives and responds to our many emergencies. He saved our lives multiple times.
Useless parents... I think they need counseling and not Caleb. The father is a tool who likes to sit in the breakfast table reading newspapers. At least the mom had some sense to reach out but didn't do much other than think her own son is a lunatic. Thank goodness he found someone so supportive.
Why is mother and father didn't belive there son my son see ghost when he was 4 and I never disbelieve him.

It's just tough luck that of all the students who saw the mummy, it's only Caleb that has been affected badly and haunted/posessed by it.
Sobeck is the God of Crocodiles and The Nile river, he was worshipped to ensure fertility was brought to the land.
Anubis on the other hand was the God of the afterlife who judged and guided lost souls and who kept evil out of Egypt.
Parents should believe their children. No matter what's the topic.
Yes,some kids do have big imagination but mostly they couldn't imagine things like this.And when kids have an "imaginary friend" consider that they're maybe seeing ghosts. Because,kids are open to this kind of things and also vulnerable.

Times are changing. Parents in this day and age are so much more open to the paranormal. There's no stigma anymore to believing in ghosts, or demons, or aliens.

I've seen John in another episode. He was seriously possessed by a demonic entity. Deliverance can be turn very serious and dangerous making the demonic entity more upset and furious. Great episode though.

Maybe the kids ancestry was connected to the artifacts in some way. (Or ancestors / family was a part of the team that acquired them. Not necessarily due to the mummy). Bloodline curse.

Based on experience, deities gods goddesses, don’t attack just by you looking at it. I can agree with you said, however I don’t believe it is an ancestral curse, if it is his parents would’ve experienced Sobek too. I believe what must’ve happened, is to be straight up I think he I mean we’ll never how the mummy was enclosed. But I think he may have fooled with the mummy too much, you know what I’m saying? Trying to impress friends and knocking on the glass and what not. Because like I said, not just Egyptian deities but others all over the world. They don’t attack you just for looking at an ancient body or anything. I think more might’ve happened at the museum, that certainly pissed sobek off. They don’t attack for no reason, or just by looking at something ancient.

My old hometown of Liverpool in nirthern England UK is considered to be one of the most paranirmal places on earth .If you enjoy this kind of thing then a local author called Tom Slemen does a really entertaining series of books simply called ' Haunted Liverpool ' theres about 30 of them & they are also available on Audible if you too like me fall asleep listening to scary stories at 4 am ( have only done that since the 80' s) lol.They are all stories told to him btw by local people so considered to ve first hand accounts.I think there are a few in Tom Slemen's UA-cam channel too .
There's a very old road there in the city centre called Bold Street & the accounts online about people experiencing ' time slips' has gone on even when my mother worked in a shop there 70 yrs ago .The church that was built by my school was built in the 1000's ,yep over a thousand years old & in incredible condition .
Parents are bit creepy and I kinda feel like there is disdain in her tone when she talks about her son.

This seems karmic in some way, like Caleb might have known the priestess in one of his previous lives. Maybe he was her adversary or something. Something must have happened which caused Sobek to come after him even in this life. This just doesn't seem like he was a random victim. This is one of the most interesting episodes.

I honestly find it hard to believe they actually banished an Egyptian GOD with Christian prayers, especially since Bill refers to him as a demon and not a God. They saw a demon but was dealing with a God who protect the dead. If any kind of prayer would have helped it should have been to Ra.

I still don't think it was a demon. The Egyptians were very dedicated to the afterlife and their gods so I wouldn't be shocked if one actually protects them. And they say this God in particular wasn't very nice or friendly which explains its aggressive behavior. Like he said, the God saw him as a threat for some reason and turned on him.
But rbe god is still no demon. Just a dark God.

It still really makes you think and or wonder that if one Egyptian deity exist's then it's a possible that all the gods and goddesses from Egyptian mythology exist, And if they exist then it's also possible that the gods of other mythologies exist as well.

Out of all the episodes from ghost documentaries I've seen, this one definitely has the most "out there" story. Sounds like something straight out of Yugioh or Indiana Jones.
I really love this show! Watching it since my childhood and I'm thankful that you guys started a channel on YT and are uploading the old contents. Two shows which I never missed to watch on Discovery were "A Haunting" and "Body Bizzare".It maybe fun and games or entertainment in the eyes of the viewers but I can see that it's something serious and unexplainable that the people who have experienced are explaining. I'm really interested to hear the real life incidents from those who have experienced the supernatural. Nothing to say much about the narration than the words "spooky and curious enough to make us attentive".
I know in this video it says about Sobek, but I get Aapep vibes. Aapep was an Egyptian deity of the dark side, causing evil and chaos. He was a large serpent species and could shape shift into a crocodile headed species. If you research Aapep it talks about him and his evil destruction and being like a king in the underworld. I know it's all mythology, but still, I would say Aapep rather than Sobek. I believe an impersonation of Sobek would be more likely or could just be a demon toying with him trying to convince him it's Sobek. I'm not say saying either/or with Sobek, I personally don't feel Sobek was the monster he is sometimes made out to be. Most people want to assume because he was the crocodile god, that would have made him evil, but a fluffy kitty or dog headed being would automatically be good, looks can be deceiving too, just sayin... I also know from what I've researched that many ancient Egyptians also loved Sobek, because their crops flourished due to the Nile River that was supposedly created by him and he helped childless couples so that they could conceive a child. I know others would try to argue with me and say he was bad, but I just don't get that feeling of him personally.
I'm not by any means trying to put this guy down, but if it were some powerful deity, I believe they would have bigger things to focus on than worrying over some powerless teen boy who was just looking at the mummy, just like everyone else was, even this mummified high priestess worshipped supposedly Sobek and asked for protection, sounds more like a demon that gets off on scaring more sensitive type kids that are more psychically aware. Demons are said to be able to disguise themselves as anyone. Just my opinion of course.
All the gods in the Egyptian pantheon are fairly mild. Most of them have animal forms. Horus is a hawk, Anubis the jackal god guards the underworld. Hathor is the mother of Horus, and is recognised by a cow visage. Sobek is the god whose form is a crocodile. However Sobek is not a demon.and isn't considered to be a paranormal figure.
Really it sounds as though they did a pick a god and that's the story. So I don't know what happened to him, but this is a whole load of bullshit.
There are many more, but while they are all mostly represented by animal forms, none of them are actually animalistic. That makes the entity more ancient to me.

Mom heard with her own ears that Caleb had a bit of a hard night . And she seemed a bit accusationary in her tone of voice when she asked him what he had been up to, which made me laugh. But really I hope that it only seemed this way because they were acting with their scripts. And mom had, had some paranormal insights herself with the residual energy her father left behind, so she should have been more open to poor Caleb and his experiences. At least we know they know the whole dam lot now!
Sobek does not guide the dead safely through the underworld. Anubis does. Sobek is also not an angry god, however he does have a moody side sometimes. He is the god of prosperity and protection. If he is targeting you, its because you did something disrespectful to piss him off. Caleb is downright leaving something out here... 😂😂
The crocodile spirit in this is Sobek he’s the god of the Nile, and Crocodiles. He’s one of the trouble making gods.

Unsure how I feel about this one tbh. For one Sobek wasn't an aggressive deity at all and for another there are still people worshipping the Neteru and they deserve respect. Idk, this one feels a lot more manufactured than the other episodes.

Might Caleb be a psychic empath/intuitive? Cause I am, and unfortunately have and am currently dealing with a negative entity. Have been in spiritual battle now for about 10 years. It exhausting and frustrating and scary. Feeling other people's emotions like they are my own is also very annoying. I had to stop watching this to comment. I hope this is a happy ending, maybe I'll get some good advice from it. I've been using intense prayers for help. On that note...Anyone willing to pray for my family and myself, I'd very much appreciate this. Prayers gain strength through the number of people doing so. ♥️ from Canada.

he did not share what was going on coz you dismissed him and ignored his concerns more than an ancient Egyptian deity! I love the way caleb girlfriend says "Do you believe in the paranormal?" just like "can you pass the salt?" Caleb could have been an egyptian in his last life who dedicated himself to Lord Sobek. Usually a diety will not attack you if you had not done something negative. He might had said even if mentally something negative about the mummy which caused the diety to react that way.
