The problem with the story in the first place was that the story didn't focus enough on the small details and the world until the last arc. Now they're cutting that out even more.
Also I think the pacing is fine but I have heard some people complaining that they have felt its slightly rushed but I am personally looking forward to jeju Island arc and I think this pacing is perfect if they're gonna cover it this season.
