Uh...Ross, you can't just throw out a list of all the scars you've gained over your lifetime without giving us a story. At least tell how you almost died from the punctured carotid. Or the missing tip of the tongue. You mondo tough guy, you.
TheGreatNickpolean Well ya can't just tell us that there's a post somewhere without giving a brief summary because this is the internet and people are lazy D:
Well he basically said when he was a kid he accidentally sliced open his carotid artery and almost bled to death. He claims it was the most thankful he has ever been in his life when he survived. That's pretty much all of what he said about it. Though that wasn't the point of the post he made so it was just something he mentioned briefly.
headcrab4 This is all he said: "This is the second-most thankful I’ve felt in my life (the first being when I accidentally had my carotid artery sliced open as a kid, was bleeding profusely and almost died), so, thanks!"
I'm not sure I want to know. I think I'll just leave it to imagination. It tends to be alot less gory and alot more "cool" than what it may actually have been.
7th level created the first game I ever played, G-Nome. Pretty decent mech simulator. Also, Ross mentioned my favorite game series ever, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, awesome.
Oh my fucking god...I just got this random inkling to watch Game Dungeon, and while scrolling i saw Arcade America and thought hey i'd love to rewatch that right about now!. So i go in, when suddenly i realize this came out a year ago, on this very day, when i watched it for the first time. Now i have unknowingly made watching this video into a anniversary. What's your game Ross? Roofies? Hypnotize me? Are you speaking to me directly through mind link? CAN YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO...............

Thanks to this review I was able to find out the name of a fighting game made by the same people. The animation just looked so damn familiar, and it turned out that they made a game called Battle Beasts, which I only ever played for a few hours nearly twenty years ago.
I remember playing this as a child, the german dub of it was pretty fun. Joey's own voice was louder and more abrasive, and they completely rewrote the phone calls - got some german celebrity to voice Joey's mother who would constantly call him.
Ross, i know it's 10 years too late, but the coin you were looking for at 17:45 is in the "uh no" room from 17:24. it falls from his jacket as he sings and lands on the middle platform, under the singing "food"
So I know you only do rather obscure games, but ya know, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl has so many quirks that I think it'd do well as a review in the Game Dungeon. The newer ones could work as well, but they don't provide the same vibe.
I'm happy you took a break from your mind series to work on these episodes. I loved the game dungeon and I was sad that you hadn't uploaded but I love everything you make. You are amazing at comedy
OMG, I remember seeing adds for this game when I was a kid but forgot its name. For years I tried to find it in the internet, the only thing I remembered it was the big explosion to wake up some guy, but no such luck. And now, after so many years, I finally know!! So happy thanks to you Rod
I used to play demo of this game (and other 7th Level games, I had a 7th Level promo CD), and got pretty much all the secrets in the Alcatraz episode. I could beat it without getting hurt once. Good times!
Someone actually remembers this game! i only remember it, because it was on a Windows 95 Sampler CD owned not by my family, but by a friend at school. Pity that this game is so flawed because to a child, it can be hilarious at times. I feel like a proper re imagining of this game from a passionate developer could potentially redeem it, but given how obscure it is, who would be passionate enough to do it?

Desert Bus wasn't entirely a joke. It was meant to be a part of a larger Penn and Teller video game that was never released (devs went out of business), but they finished Desert Bus...
I just realised something: Bobby in Las Vegas is a green lizard and he’s so horrible at singing, he shatters a protective dome over the city and the sound waves can hurt you. Besides being a joke about lounge lizards, is he also supposed to be a reference to the Meeps from Commander Keen 3?
Holy fucking shit, I never thought I would remember this game's existence. Some kids back in my church played this at the computer room, and I haven't seen the game past the 2nd stage.
I think you'd like Space Station 13. That assessment doesn't have much to do with this game, but it's one of those really "simple" but extremely simulationist games, requires upwards of 6 players for it to be good, though.
Definitely remember this... from... something. Not sure if i played a demo of this or saw trailers for it way back in the day. Oh hell yeah that difficulty selection is definitely familiar
I'm just now realizing, I think the Las Vegas monster was voiced by the same guy who played the pizza troll in "Zoombinis." Let me know if I'm wrong. And also, let me know how you know that, because "Zoombinis" isn't on IMDB and all of this game's actors are just credited generically.
Pocket Fluff Productions Oh god, _Arno the pizza loving tree stump troll._ I used to play Zoombinis in primary 4 and that part gave me hell more than the other random chance trial & error levels before it. He's really picky about what toppings he'll accept on his pizza and if you get it wrong enough times, he'll punch your Zoombinis over the hills. The next bit in the first campsite is where my class & I always rage quit as you needed no Zoombinis lost to proceed down either path and despite one of my friends psychically knowing when it was safe to go on the earlier levels, Arno would always cause some casualties, making the game unwinnable. And that's how I learned how graphic adventure games loved to screw over the player if badly designed even if the game itself is still good.
I remember playing the demo of this game a bunch, it was just the Alcatraz level It took me a long-ass time to figure out you could do that belly attack, before that I just used the few shots that the game gives you and avoided everything else

Joey should've had an animation where he pulls his pants up after that call.
I can't believe this wasn't extremely obvious Ross is an idiot
It's bad enough when a game is completely esoteric and random but then it has the nerve to call you the idiot for not knowing what they were thinking.
Plumbers Union, 2 inch tolerance line means how low his plumbers crack is
Redfizz12 Yup. Seemed to me he meant pull up those pants.
That was very cryptic, but also gives sense and is hilarious xD Good work!
Yeah you can immediately notice there's way less plumber's crack when joey climbs the latter starting with that level
