At 48 yrs old and he's still got it. Howard Jones is a legend. Hell, why am I getting choked up? This is incredible.

Not to mention the 2 newest albums with Jesse being chock full of great songs.
russell2937 Plus Jesse has GREATLY improved all areas of his vocals since returning to the band.
Mate, I was there. Incredible performance by KSE. Maiden were the first band I ever saw live (back in the 80s), and will always hold a special place in my blackened heart, but on the night, Killswitch were just phenomenal.

Lol everyone bitching about the crowd. Most of the maiden fans are older. They don’t dig the screams as much as some of us or even know who these bands are. Different generation. Hell the same thing happens when maiden plays their newer material. I watched a bunch of old dudes look lost when maiden played anything post 2000 at the gigs I’ve been to. A lot of people are simply out of the loop. But luckily there are the younger maiden fans like myself who also grew up listening to kse, pwd, aild, etc and we have a little more appreciation for a wider spectrum of metal. At least thats my opinion.
UpTheIrons it was nothing wrong with the crowd, I was there first to the barriere, and I promise you I´ve NEVER been so squashed and soaking wet in my life before, you really should experience the pain and bruises.........and then, we could have a chat.......
Yeah it was the same in Arnhem. Fortunately I found a pit with younger fans who where into both of them, after that it was epic xD

Btw: KSE and AILD are some monsters of great bands and musicians.

I so wish this happened at one of their own headlining shows. This crowd was only there for Iron Maiden. I would have gone ballistic if this surprise happened. Miss Hojo in Kill Switch so much.

My gosh did Howard sound good!! Like and angel singing and like a monster in his growls. Wow! I think before Killswitch goes into retirement (which will be years and years away hopefully) they do a tour where Howard sings his songs and Jesse sings his. Would be awesome.

Both Howard and Jesse are sounding better than ever. Jesse's singing has improved DRASTICALLY since rejoining KSE and Howard.. leaving KSE was honestly the best thing possible for his voice. They Bleed Red and Revival.. they both sound like As Daylight Dies Howard once again. It's just insane, really can't wait to hear the duo on the new album!
This song really cast a spell over me, as their performance did.....It´s sad coming home and in retrospect finding out how incredible this group really are...

I was there very near the front, and the crowd was mostly Maiden fans understandably... but to be fair to them, looking around at them alot of them fucking loved this song, and you can hear it in that cheer.
I feel like the songs have a bigger impact when Howard sings. I fuckin love that man he’s such a sick vocalist and such a great lyricist

Pinehurst Media a lot of the older maiden fans don’t like the heavier modern metal lol however there is a large amount of the guys like me who are in their 20s and love bands like kse , aild, pwd, architects, etc. hell the same thing happened when Ghost opened lol

I was actually there, first to the barriere and waiting for Iron Maiden....I liked KSE, they weren´t bad at all, but this particular song, and Howards incredible voice just put everything in place.....I must say I regret that I didn´t appreciate it as much as it was worth...and to be honest, next show I´ll be there, for theese guys alone.......btw I love this song more and more, every single time I hear it !!
Excellent. They are a phenomenal band but maybe just a tad too heavy for the majority of Maiden fans. This is their best song by a country mile.
Luke Nash I don´t think thats the problem, we were there for seeing the Maiden, and some of us had been in a waiting line for eleven hours or more ( including me ).....somehow we couldn´t expect the brilliance of the opening band....and that´s a shame, they are worth so much more....it´s not an excuse, only an explanation...but as I said, the more I think back, the more I realize their brilliance, and I really would love them to have a show of their own...

They piggy back now because their popularity is somewhat dwindling nowadays. Plus what their putting out is kinda sounding repetitious like it’s been done before.....more than a few times!

Some of it even better, listen to In Due Time (probably the best post Howard era Killswitch song) and also strength of the mind, embrace the journey, turning point, always, and hate by design, and just listen to alive or just breathing, that album completely changed the metal landscape

Bucha que paja el público, tienen tremenda banda en tarima y tienen 0 reacción, ya está bien, no saben mucho de KSE, pero prendan la wea po, parece velorio. Por eso sudamerica es mejor público, aqui te harían un mosh y te prenden 10 bengalas hasta cuando estén cantando always versión acústica xD. Aguante Killswitch loco, Ojalá algún día tenga el honor de verlos tocar en vivo.
Totalmente de acuerdo contigo men, las nuevas bandas de Metalcore ya no tienen el mismo estilo que las antiguas (All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, Unearth, etc) acá en Sudamérica el publico es mucho más loco. Espero que algún día KSE vengan a Perú lpm.
