I watched your conversation with Nuwan re Finland Education. You mentioned many Sri Lankan teachers have said they want to change the system but they can't. I run a school for over aged children who have never been to school from an under privileged community with the intention of breaking the poverty cycle. I'm happy to say our vision is the same as Finland Education. Eg. Exams to assess the children only, giving special attention to each child, etc. This village has many problems within the community. To protect the children from abuse, a Day Care and a class/School for drop outs is a necessity. If you wish to know details or know anyone who will be interested I'll be happy to discuss.

Sir, if I have 3As for A/L commerce stream with a district rank, can I apply for a scholarship to finland to do my higher studies there?
I think yes..there is a good chance of gaining a scholarship if you have good results in AL..first you need to have an admission from a university and then you can apply for a scholarship programme.They will evaluate your situation and give a response..
He is clearly saying that scholarships are mostly given for masters programmes.Not for bachelors..

A/L නැත්නම් NVQ level 6 හරි Higher Diploma එකක් කරල එන්න පුළුවන් කියල වීඩියෝ එකේ කියනවා. BA degree එකක් තියෙනවා නම් master program එකක් කරන්න පුළුවන් කියනවා. ඒත් BA එක තිබිල GPA එක මදිනම් ඒ වෙනුවෙන් කරන්න ඕන මොන වගේ පාඨමාලාවක්ද කියන එක පැහැදිලි මදි.

Thank you for your comment. You hardly get job opportunities in Finland as an Non-EU citizen. There are ways to get employment opportunities as well. Then, you have to have strong contacts in employment sectors in Finland. We advise you not to get caught to scammers that are breaking out these days in Sri Lanka. You should always reach the Finnish authorities to find the genuinity of the opportunity.

U can apply for bachelor on your A/L..Some bachelor programs can be waves off ILETS. But u have to face for a entrance exam.
